The interesting part of $NEAR going live on Pump.fun isn’t just another place to trade memes.
It’s distribution.
NEAR has had its own launchpads, traders and communities for a while. The challenge has always been getting that activity in front of people outside the ecosystem.
Now there’s a potential new route for Pump.fun’s existing audience to discover and trade NEAR tokens without first becoming part of the NEAR community.
That matters.
More eyes can mean more traders, more liquidity and more opportunities for projects launching on NEAR.
But I also think this puts pressure on our launchpads to deliver. Hoot and Nearly have been building the infrastructure. Now they have a bigger opportunity to turn that work into actual traction.
The real win isn’t just having NEAR memes listed on Pump.fun.
It’s getting more people to trade, discover projects and eventually explore the wider NEAR ecosystem.

the ceiling for NEAR memes just went way up.
@Pumpfun added NEAR, and memes launched on Hoot and Nearly can now be traded right there.
a meme only runs as far as the crowd that can buy it. for NEAR memes, that crowd used to be whoever found their way to NEAR. now it includes pumpfun.
that's why i'm so bullish on the $NEAR trenches, and why this is a huge win for both launchpads.
@justhootfun and @nearlytrade have been shipping nonstop lately. now all that work has a much bigger audience.
