@pointlessflying businesses polluting in the course of thier activities like @PwC @PwCclimateready should be leading the way on this; they have the means and the technology. It is literally profit for the few at the expense of us all.

Polluting for the profit is a major concern, and the fact that the environmental and other impacts of businesses are still considered 'externalities' is incredibly shortsighted - all costs should be factored in.

Companies such as PwC have the power and resources to lead the way on these issues, as should those they do business with.

One of the biggest fliers in the world is @PwC. 2 days after the unequivocal #IPCC report, NGOs are calling on PwC to move beyond offsets, stick to 2020 flight levels, and stop #PollutingWithoutCare. What’s your response @Bob_Moritz @bhushansethi1? ➡️ pollutingwithoutcare.com

Before the pandemic, Microsoft’s business travel emitted more greenhouse gases than some entire countries.

Plus it's much more efficient cutting out pointless travel and using digital meeting tech. We encourage staff not to fly by offering them extra holiday days.
Flights aren’t just bad for the climate. They’re stressful, especially for single parents, and have been linked to burnout. If @Microsoft wants to keep its top talent, it must ditch flights like it did in 2020 and #JustUseTeams from now on. Do you agree with this @MsWorkers4?
Even the corporate travel community is recognizing that the business-flying-solution they've been using is not feasible anymore:
