If you ever think that you can't do something, remember that I once passed out because I was asked to speak in a room with only three other people in it. You can do anything, wonderful folk. #TEDx #TedTalk #anxiety #speaker #adventure
A is for Archery! Such a great time trying this at Braveheart Archery Range to start my A to Z of Adventure. If you haven't already tried this, you definitely should.

It's fair to say that the last few years have been hard - brain haemorrhage, epilepsy, marriage breakdown. But Must Try Harder has taught me that getting up and trying something new always helps so I'll be starting my adventures again in 2024 with an A to Z of Adventure.
I'm a year seizure-free today! To celebrate, I went for a 10km walk on my own before sunrise. It probably seems like such a small thing, but I couldn't even have contemplated doing that this time last year. Hurrah!
Today's new thing was a fun one: a (very rainy!) speed boat tour of Loch Lomond!

I haven’t been around much as it’s hard to think about adventuring after everything changed so much with my health. But today I went for my 1st walk on my own since the stroke - it felt great. Small steps towards adventuring again. Thanks for bearing with me!

I've been having a bit of a rest since having a brain haemorrhage last year, but it was lovely to be back talking about all things adventure and wellbeing with the wonderful Ways to Wellbeing podcast for @Partners4W. Please give it a listen! podbean.com/media/share/pb-4…
It's been a hard few months, facing all the things I've been advised not to do after a brain haemorrhage (drive, swim, climb...). But as spring arrives, I'm finding new ways of inviting adventure back into my life. Thanks for bearing with me.

No big adventure plans for me this year, as I continue to try hard to recover from a brain haemorrhage and epilepsy diagnosis. But if you’re trying something new in 2022 and aren’t sure where to start, I’ve written a wee e-book to help you get going. payhip.com/b/u32TJ
It's won't be the most exciting Hogmanay for us, but it will be a thankful one: thankful to have survived a brain haemorrhage, thankful to be back home with my lovely family, thankful for all the care and kindness, and thankful for these constant cuddles from my tiny wee pal.
I spent the last three days in hospital after another seizure, and was diagnosed with a possible brain tumour, that may have spread from another primary site in my body. (1/3)
Yesterday morning started with me planning my last Christmas and ended with me being told the 'tumour' is actually a bleed on the brain (which, while still dangerous, isn't cancerous) and being sent skipping home. (2/3)
No adventures for me for a wee while, after my second seizure in as many weeks landed me back in A and E last night. Send happy thoughts please, as I've no clue what's happening with my wee body!
Happy Time for a Change Day! This isn't an actual holiday; it's just my way of saying that I won't be carrying on with the project after today, for various reasons around my wellbeing and the way the world is right now.

ALT Photo shows a ceramic clock in the shape of a house, with black hands and the words 'twelve, three, six, nine' around its face instead of numbers. The time is showing almost 6 o'clock. There is a plant in a blue plant pot and a coaster with a stag on it beside the clock. They are all sitting on a green table. The wall behind is white.
I'll still be posting about individual adventures, book stuff and the likes, and I'd love you to stick around for that! If not, I completely understand and appreciate you being here until now. Stay well, everyone. #everydayadventures #anxiety #wellbeing #newadventures
It's Make Your Bed Day! Yeah, even I know this one is stupid.

Happy Alpaca Day! To celebrate, I spent a lovely afternoon walking with my new friend, Chewpaca from @JohnMuirAlpacas! #AlpacaDay #celebrateeveryday #everydayadventures #alpacas #alpacatrek
