1/ I was asked by Astute Graphics to create Illustrator scripts that are added to their Astute Manager Pro as a free giveaway.
One of them is one I always wanted to have: a Sine Wave Generator.
It comes with a nice UI, live preview, and creates nice vector sine waves.
2/ How did I generate it? Of course, with MATE using Gemini 3.5 in about 5 min (one-shot). But then I spent hours tweaking the UI and the live preview :)

Every AI design tool spits out a flat PDF. Then someone rebuilds the whole thing in InDesign by hand to make it editable. Usually me.
So I built idmly: drop in an HTML design, get back a native InDesign file. Real text frames, styles, editable charts. Not a screenshot.

I'm using it today in Cursor and it is so bad. Honestly. It's only trouble. Sorry to say that but right now in Cursor it is super bad. Don't know why. I'm using it for normal stuff. Not some special extra extra.
Switched back to GPT-5.4 and all was good again. Hm.
