The Teenage Engineering K.O. series makes a good sparring partner for iOS devices! 🥊🥊
In this video, the K.O. Sidekick doubles as an audio interface and a performance mixer for live effects.
On the left, the EP-133 supplies the beats.
On the right, the iPad runs a bassline in Elastic Melody, layered with Elastic OSC receiving MIDI from Melody. Molli Looper adds looping and filter effects, while AUM sends MIDI clock to keep the EP-133 in sync.

For anyone following the whole Ovrkast Outkast thing this is Overcast from Canada who later changed their name to Overcast Sound but I know them as Overcast since 2005 overcastsound.bandcamp.com

And what's crazy I've been listening to an electronica duo out of Canada since the mid 2000s called Overcast but they changed to Overcast Sound. I'd be like nah someone already used that name and come up with something different IMO. Be more creative with the names ya know?

the ovrkast situation, similar to the reoccurring debates about sampling, reminds me that many hip hop fans have whole police departments running amuck in their heads

Not to mention the minimal Techno artist "Overcast" from Canada that's been around since 2005 lol

Dope to get a breakdown of your process. Question though. Typical licensing agreement for sample based VSTs is you can't make and sell sample packs with them. Curious to know what your workaround for that is especially if you're making a product for Akai.
