What a clever idea from #AHAReads I love a good summer reading challenge and I LOVE bingo! How fun!
Had a great time representing the growing early modern presence at the #BATW2023 conference. I met so many lovely people and I learned so much from all the different scholars there. Definitely would love to come again next year!
One of my students gave me this today as a thank you on our last day of class. I’m not crying, you’re crying. I’m gonna miss these students so much.
The very last reading of the semester! I can’t believe I’ve taught a whole class that I created for a whole semester. What a wild life I live.
George Croghan also started a B&B bakery in the west and a few PA speculators petitioned the king to invade the Netherlands in the name of Hershey’s chocolate. So we got a little silly too. My students are the best!
We had SUCH a good time with our role-playing game. This last day had a lot of “violence” and a lot of laughs. The VA plan ended up being our final redrawn proclamation line. I learned a lot about using games in the classroom and I’m already thinking about how to make it better!
