After ~3 years I made the decision (a while ago) to cease development of @journeyio — despite having a modestly good NPS (~65) and modest monthly growth (~10% MoM) since launch, I didn't feel our DAU/MAU was healthy enough to fundraise further.

Journey will live on as we were able to soft land the product with some thoughtful folks but were unfortunately unable to return meaningful cash to investors — I'd like to thank all our investors for *everything*, in particular our lead @chadbyers at @SusaVentures

I'd also like to thank my dear co-founders @bweitz1 and @anilsevim who are complete savages and I know will crush both future jobs and build companies of consequence in the future. Similarly all the incredibly talented folks that worked on Journey — thank you and i'm sorry!!!

Starfield is soooo great but you have to wonder how and when video games will embrace modern AI — will next gen consoles have GPUs dedicated to AI processing so you can have open form dialog with all NPCs etc? similarly will those games be made by startups or existing studios?

is there not some kind of AI app that combines the knowledge of ChatGPT but with hooks into your calendar/inbox for assistant centric tasks like scheduling etc? it would be so cool to have a bot with historical context of chats + trips, orders from your email inbox + calendar
