Shame on you, @SpanbergerForVA, for sending every little girl in Virginia the message that she isn’t worthy of being called a champion.

I think it’s fair to say that anyone whose job it is to comment on cultural issues and/or sports who hasn’t spoken out about men taking women’s athletic opportunities has absolutely no business pretending to care about women’s sports now
Such unserious people. Faux outrage.

Not sure if you're aware of this, but you will be representing the United States of America in Congress and not Mexico.
215 years ago, Mexicans fought an empire that demanded our land and our labor. And we won.
I'll carry that fight with me to Congress as New York's first Mexican American representative.
And I'm strengthened not just by Mexico's history but its present. Last month I met comrades in Morena who are standing up to the empires and corporations that have always taken from us – and building a government for the working class.
¡Viva la Independencia, Viva México!

In this clip Newsom says big school districts like LA "refused to open" during Covid. As governor, he had the power to make them open. He CHOSE not to. He bowed to unions. School districts in Florida also tried to say no to opening and Gov. DeSantis made them. That's leadership.

Good job, Bob.
When Paramount leaves, all they need is one good quarter, and the floodgates will open. Every studio will leave. Nothing anchors the film industry to CA anymore, and if the bean-counters can make movies cheaper in TN, plus pay no income tax? Game over.
You used to need to be in LA if you wanted to be in the business. All the studios were physically there, and all the celebrities lived there: LA had the status. But now, everyone is leaving. LA isn’t cool anymore. Spielberg doesn’t live there anymore, Mel Gibson’s house burned down, Nic Cage’s driveway collapsed…why stay here and do battle with naked drug zombies and hours of traffic every day?
Studios are pragmatic. They prioritize the bottom line. They relocate to film in Hungary because they can shave a few bucks off their budgets…once Paramount pumps out a few movies that are in the black a month faster because they have less overhead in Tennessee…it’s going to be an instantaneous departure for everyone.
You are watching Bob Bonta slaughter California’s golden goose right before your eyes. Insane to see.

Remember when I sued you in both state and federal court to open the beaches of Orange County that you maliciously closed, and you lifted the order so as to moot our cases before the hearings? You knew it back then too, Governor.

Hamas Piker asked if America is worse than Al-Qaeda?
Unsurprisingly, he says "Yes. We have caused tremendous terror all around the world."
But saying America is worse than Al Qaeda wasn't the grossest thing that he said. The worst thing he said was the word "we". This clown is not "we". I don't care what his papers say, he is not American. WE don't hate America. He does. We have no shared values. He's an entitled Ankara baby.

Newsom appeared gleeful while keeping CA shut down longer than any other city on the planet. He seems energized by his “Fireside Chats” he did everyday, informing citizens of the new rules or shutdowns. Sand was dumped in the skate parks, restaurants were put out of business, mask and vaccine rules for access to buildings capriciously changed every few days, etc.
If he truly had regrets, he would be in tears, asking the CA citizens for forgiveness.
