We call on France to exercise restraint when dispersing the freedom fighters on the streets of Paris. These brave warriors for justice must receive immediate humanitarian aid, and their safety must be guaranteed in accordance with international law. Failure to comply will leave us no choice but to bring a case before the ICJ, in close cooperation with that renowned champion of human rights, Afghanistan.

GB Energy, the useless state-owned company established by Labour, has so far spent £14.2m on running costs — and £5.8m on investments.
Running costs included the almost £400,000/year paid to its ineffective CEO and six executives on more than £100,000 each. What any of them has done to earn these sums is one of life’s mysteries.
Perhaps it’s a blessing it’s invested so little. The £5.8m it has earmarked is for a proposed floating wind farm off the north coast of Scotland — a sure-fire loss-maker if ever there was one.

To be fair to City, you can't expect a club that hasn't won a trophy in 51 years to compete with the defending European Champions.

Seven Somali undocumented migrants jailed for gang raping a 13 year old British girl in their taxpayer funded hotel room. This is Andy Burnhams Britain.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
These men were convicted and jailed in 2014. So not Burnham's Britain.
Cameron was PM back then.

Behold ATM BAR AND RESTAURANTS LTD!
A "cocktail bar" in Wickford was assigned 40 Skilled Worker visa certificates in 2023 and 2024.
One of the 2023 roles was a web designer, for a bar with no website
There's no sign it ever opened. Its only premises was an empty former Santander branch. Betfred plans to run the same unit with 6 staff (124m^2).
It never filed a single set of accounts.
It had £1 of share capital. It got three compulsory strike-off notices while sponsoring dozens of workers.
Its licence was gone by June 2026. The company was dissolved in September.
How was this business EVER allowed to sponsor visas? What "genuine business need" could they possibly have shown for ONE worker, let alone FORTY workers?
What on earth is UK Visas and Immigration doing?
Less Transport for London than Transport for Terrorists, hey @TfL ?

Totally inappropriate
This looks like a member of staff on the London Underground giving out pro-Pal stickers to the public. These spaces should not have divisive politics in them. I don’t want to be handed one of these by one of your employees. What is going on @TfL?

Have you ever seen a bison run a bear over?...
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
This video of a bison charging a bear appears to be AI-generated, not authentic footage. Wildlife guide Bo Welden, falsely credited as the source, states it is not real and not his video.

Generations of #Portsmouth men have been tasked with defending these islands from invasion for hundreds of years — the city’s seafront is marked with monuments to their sacrifice. I for one am proud that they are not prepared to stand idly by in this case.

Make this man famous.
@MayorofLondon, sack him immediately for assault, discrimination and threatening behaviour.

You're going to see a lot more manifestations of what we saw in Dover yesterday, and if you're a middle of the road conservative, you're not going to like the politics it represents. It's an ugly side of politics. Among their number are radicalised fanatics. Christian nationalists and outright fascists - and while generally well behaved right now, it is going to attract thugs. I'm not talking about Tommy Robinson supporters and Reform adjacent. I'm talking about proper grotbags. This is something most of you haven't seen before, and never before at this scale. Get used to it.
What you're seeing is the consequence of political failure. You're seeing young and angry men with uncertain futures who can see that the party system is a dead end. The mainstream right has shunned them - for the sake of optics, and playing "the game", but it's a game that does not yield results. Patience goes unrewarded. The game is rigged and time is short. This is a gear shift in politics - because the political process does not work.
These are not people with whom I have much in common. The ones I know of are pretty shitty people - and quite a few of them are belligerent and quite a bit thick - who cannot be reasoned with - who could very easily become quite dangerous. But there's also a shrewdness to them and how they operate. This is proto-IRA territory - albeit in the very early stages.
This will follow a similar dynamic, where there'll be mealy-mouthed condemnations, but even quite well off and middle class normies will tacitly approve of what they do. I much don't like them or their politics but I'm not going to condemn it for as long as it remains peaceful. I'm content to let them take a run at it and see what they can do, because I don't see a normal political avenue that will work. We're past all that.
We've now reached a point where there simply has to be a response to the sheer arrogance of the British state. It is one thing for them to take their time in finding operational solutions to the dinghy crisis, and god knows, we have waited long enough, but to move them out of hotels and into our neighbourhoods, at our expense, knowing the danger they pose, despite very clear warnings, is an act of absolute contempt that requires an equal and opposite reply. Britain is being radically changed without consultation or consent, while our votes are meaningless - and the ruling class rubs our noses in it - even dispatching the plod if we complain too loudly.
That is why it's time to take this to the streets. You don't have to like it, or even approve of it, but this is how it has to be now. There is no other way. Civilised means have failed.
