Welp, the state of Texas is taking over my school district. That’s me asking questions about their plan for curriculum, books, and school libraries. TEA’s response is not great.

The student protesters were obviously correct on Gaza. The reaction to them was obviously idiotic and depraved. We're probably still a while out from this being banal conventional wisdom, but it's coming.
Extremely hard for me every year. Ninety nine kids will like me but I will feel so defeated about the kid who despises me. Bu, you know, that’s life. Not going to be everyone’s cup of tea, and it’s a fool’s errand to try and teach with the goal of students personally liking you

NYP: President Trump has decided to pull the United States out of UNESCO, citing the organization’s emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as what he views as a consistent pro-Palestinian and pro-China bias.
