The comments on this heartbreaking post are indicative of what so many women deal with in a patriarchal society that rewards toxic masculinity. JD Vance is an idiot, but the people who bankroll him are literal monsters and they all must be stopped.
The day I finally left my husband, he had me up against a wall, screaming & swearing at me. I looked over his shoulder and saw the terror in the eyes of our 4-yr-old daughter. I walked around him, picked her up,& left. I never went back.
