About a month ago, I asked my boss for a $200 raise.
I’ve been the top performer on my team for almost two years, so I felt like I’d earned it.
They told me they weren’t giving out raises right now.
I said okay and kept it moving.
Instead of complaining, I started looking for new opportunities.
Fast forward to today.
Just signed a contract for a new job that pays me $1,500 more.
Moral of the story:
Don’t let someone else’s decision determine your worth.
Keep moving.

First 6 months was to build a strong foundation and we have done it properly.
