Payment methods and billing addresses attached to your account reveal real location the moment any transaction is involved regardless of what IP you connected from. A VPN changes your IP. Detection uses your timezone, language, WebRTC, DNS, browser fingerprint, and account data simultaneously. Changing one signal while broadcasting the other eleven doesn’t keep you anonymous.
