Another basic factual ‘error’ as the BBC’s most highly-paid journalist and his team whip up emotions and exploit hatreds. Two 90 minute phone-in shows, five days a week. The sheer volume of inflammatory vitriol actively produced by a ‘public service broadcaster’ is incredible.
The absolute state of @BBCNolan this morning.
Mistake No2 - The host cutting off a caller for saying (quite rightly) that DUP MPs are "under investigation".
He corrected himself ref Jim Shannon, but he declined to mention the other investigations.
We all see what's going on.

A few weeks ago, Linda and I had the pleasure of delivering an 8-week Positive Mental Health programme to a fantastic women’s group in the Tigers Bay area of North Belfast.
A huge thank you to everyone who made us feel so welcome. We hope it won’t be too long before we’re back.

regardless of who is targeted, any flags, political posters, effigies, or offensive material should be removed immediately, with one consistent standard applied to all.

and such displays only add to their pain.
However, I did not see the PSNI or others act quickly to have it removed, as this was definitely a hate crime, which raises questions.
I hope current actions set a clear precedent:

with the words “RIP Pip” and “Up the Ardoyne Bungee Jumpers” a crude reference to the alarming number of young people from the small nationalist enclave who had died by suicide. I raised concerns at the time as suicide affects families across all communities

To put any images or effigies on a bonfire is completely wrong and unacceptable.
I have been reflecting on this and questioning the difference in response.
Not long ago, in the Westland Estate in North Belfast there was an effigy of a young person hanging from a bonfire
Over the last six weeks I’ve been working with Relatives for Justice, and it has been both a privilege and an honour to work alongside men from across Belfast who have experienced difficult and traumatic events throughout their lives.
It was a privilege to work with the staff and residents at Rosemount House, delivering mindfulness meditation and positive mental health awareness training. A big shout out to Charlie for all his support. Thank you to Newington Housing for their kind sponsorship of this training.
I had this dream one night. I remember Philip and I sitting together he was like a beam of light. It was beautiful while it lasted. He felt like he belonged to the world, and then he was gone again. I wish he’d stayed, but I’m so thankful for the 17 years we shared.
Well done to everyone who took part & committed to their own wellbeing throughout our positive mental health programme. Your openness and support for one another made the journey special.
This is the fabulous
Nania who attended our program each week
Last night marked the final evening of our Positive Mental Health and Wellbeing journey in the Houben Centre. It was a wonderful night filled with laughter, connection, and positive energy.
We’ll be back again soon.
If there is one thing we can take from the programme, it’s this, the greatest thing we can do in life is help each other. When we look out for one another and create spaces where people feel safe, supported and understood, that’s when real change happens.
Well done to everyone!
It has been a real pleasure for Linda and I to deliver our Mental Health and Wellbeing
Each week the room has been filled with great people, plenty of laughter, & new friendships being formed along the way. It’s been wonderful to see everyone supporting one another.
Yet again on Wednesday evening we had another fantastic turnout for our Mental Health and Wellbeing Programme. It’s great to see so many people coming along, learning new skills, and taking time to look after their wellbeing.
Another brilliant evening in the Houben Centre for our Mental Health & Wellbeing Workshop.
Over 50 people came together to experience mindfulness meditation and learn practical strategies to strengthen their mental wellbeing.
We’re back this Wednesday 4th March at 6:45pm.
What a great night!
