Richard Linklater gives a major update on his film ‘Merrily We Roll Along,’ which is set to shoot over a 20-year period:
“My progress report is it’s [shooting] nine sections in 20 years. And in a few months, we’re filming the fourth section. So see you in 2040.”

The reality is that TV show polls are boring. We all agree that The Wire, Mad Men, and Breaking Bad are among the best. Most tv experts don't bother engaging with shows that aren't in English. There isn't much room for canonical shake up or unique perspectives like with film.
