Kicking off the 6th @VCPlatform Global Summit here in NYC. Crazy to think the first one in 2016 was 30 of us at USVโs office and today weโre 200+ strong with hundreds more tuning in virtually.
Hats off to the amazing board for putting this together (as their side hustle!!)

On the Amtrak home from NYC, and Iโm still just absolutely in awe of the experience I just had at @VCPlatform Summit.
@joshuagoodfield and the board pulled off a truly 11/10 event and the power of platform was palpable among the 500+ attendees.
Look how far weโve come. ๐ช โ at Bridgeport, CT

Today's @VCPlatform Summit was the ๐๐ปmost๐๐ปimmaculate๐๐ป non-profit event I've attended. Guess it's not that surprising given platform pros pour so much care into everything they do. Exceptional @joshuagoodfield @bolotsky!

Amazing vision to replace strangers with kin - safe, loving family and friends as first line of foster care. Itโs a practice observed as a general unspoken rule in Asian culture and worksโ parents go to a grandma, an auntie, a bestie before they get turned over to the system.
So excited to share that we have raised $47.5 million through TEDโs Audacious Project toward our $100M goal to support the transformation of the child welfare system by centering lived experience. Over the next five years, we will work with partners across the child welfare field to build a system that prioritizes family and child well-being. Thank you to all our lived experience experts, our team, funder, partners, funder and everyone who has been apart of this journey. #fostercare #kinshipcare #tech
Wildly inspired by Vinu Danielโs #TED2023 presentation of how he upcycles tires, bottles, and debris to make beautiful architectural spaces. Check out this great interview with him to see more - archdaily.com/990321/i-am-alโฆ

Jane and Kenneth made public education the campaignโs number one priority. They used billboards, TikTok, Pikachu, Corgis to do it. And they fucking won. More votes than either Caruso or Bass.
We just witnessed history happen. Hope you all can appreciate this moment with us.
