Consider Vivek losing a wise tactical retreat. Vivek wants to be president, which is why I think it's important for him to lose the governor race. It effects more than just Ohio. It makes him closer to having an actual presidential run. That simply can't happen.
Ohio has a super majority Republican legislature. Amy won't have much power. Vivek would have free reign.
Vivek will lose and fade into obscurity. This is necessary and long term for the best.

The GOP has a veto proof supermajority in both legislatures, the amount of damage Acton can do is far far less than Vivek who will raise the indian flag and recruit his co-ethnics to move to Ohio. And yes he doesn't have control of immigration policy but as Gov Hot Wheels in Texas has proved, you don't need to to destroy the state by inviting indians to move there en masse. There are millions and millions of indians in America on visas and Vivek wants 4 million of them to move to Ohio. Never Vivek.
