Been digging into @squeekchain lately, and I genuinely think we might be sleeping on how crazy this could get
An entire chain built around a real hamster running on a wheel, sounds completely ridiculous, but this is crypto after all.
We've got Squeek NFTs being minted on testnet, @pillheadddd talking about multiple teams building behind the scenes, and projects like Exsqueektion bringing hamster-powered gaming into the mix.
One thing I really like is how supportive Pill has been of the builders joining the ecosystem, actively engaging with projects, giving them visibility and encouraging people to experiment.
But what really gets me is imagining where this could go.
Prediction markets on how much Squeektoshi runs, gambling apps, DeFi protocols, trading platforms, NFT collections, and probably some completely unhinged ideas nobody has thought of yet.
And we shouldn't underestimate the memetic power here: A real hamster producing blocks is ridiculously easy to meme, and the possibilities for content are practically endless.
I think there's a real chance this becomes its own little onchain economy, where builders take the hamster meme and run absolutely wild with it.
Still early, and plenty left to prove, but I'm genuinely curious how far this rabbit hole goes.

馃惞馃煢 INCIDENT REPORT -
last night the signing call used by the @Infineon Trust M hardware chip got stuck
the Trust M signs the WHEELY9000's telemetry before submitting it to the Oracle for approval. if it stops, no telemetry gets signed and nothing gets sent to the Oracle and there's a pause in it landing onchain
but we have multiple backups of the data and the telemetry was never lost. @squeektoshi ran throughout the night - 10KM in total, and it was all counted and recorded
this morning we upgraded the library + fixed the race condition and the Trust M started signing again and the SQK backlog was minted, as you can see on the left (1,680,000 SQK vs 162,400 and 302,400 from the previous mints)
we've spent over two months testing, iterating and perfecting the WHEELY9000 as we pioneer hamster-powered proof of work and this unanticipated incident was successfully handled without loss of the proof data or SQK awards

testing out the @squeekchain motion studio - this has taken just a half dozen prompts as it uses our existing design system+language, API, etc
it lets us create new motion rules, string them together into templates and then customize them for specific uses. it's built from the ground-up to be agent friendly, you can prompt from your TUI/wherever, directly in the app or use the tools manually
this specific example is our callout template + variants for sharing updates and announcements with the community
these can also be built autonomously by agents e.g. fetching last nights hamster performance data from the API and publishing it direct to X, our discord - wherever
the bigger goal is to make @squeekchain the most AI-native "chain" in crypto
