The mystery of faith.

Life is funny, it doesn’t happen on our schedule and when we become reconciled with that, life improves. Today, slept 6 hours and then couldn’t sleep anymore but wanted to get stuff done so got up, worked out, got some work done (for my job), and feeling good about having won the morning. Now headed back to bed for a snooze before church. Alternatively, I could have laid in bed bemoaning that I couldn’t sleep and could have used that lack of sleep as an excuse for why today sucks. « I change and the world around me changes. I am the problem »

Discipline + God/ the universe’s grace

It seems that all is summarized by this: We shall seek to remain useful to the Lord/ the universe at all times, whatever the circumstance.

Will you attend the banquet that God/ the universe has prepared for you? Will you be transformed by it?

The acid test teaches us that the goal of life is to remain useful at all times no matter what the circumstances.
