I'm closing down my X account. I thought I had already rested it to be disabled. I guess that's one of the functionalities that don't work anymore since the malevolent dictator took over and fired most of the people. Moving to BlueSky: bsky.app/profile/piffio.bsky…

One of the highest leverage activity for an Engineering Manager? Make sure your sprints / cycles are in good shape. Lousy plans lead to waste, waste leads to chaos, chaos leads to burnout

🧵 The importance of Career Ladders for Engineering teams is often underestimated in Startups. 🚫 You might thing this is just corporate busywork, and not suitable for a fast moving environment such as a startup. 💪 I strongly disagree with that!

✅ They are used to calibrate the hiring process for different levels ❌ Having a single standardised process for all the levels might be due to a few causes: you haven't had time to tune the process yet or you don't know how to filter effectively

I've been struggling for year with too many browser tabs open... util I realised the solution had be staring at me for a long time: Tab Groups

And now the best part. Once a group is created I can simply right click and select "Close Group" to declutter my workspace without losing track of important tabs. If you want to simply hide the group content you can left click o its label, and it will collapse / expand.

Now I have a much more decluttered browser environment as I tend to keep only a couple of groups open at the same time, and whenever I need to bring up a new one I simply left click on the group name in the Bookmark bar. There, let me know if you'll find this helpful!
