Is anyone else just utterly overwhelmed with the torrent of "news" and horrors that the social media stream brings us? Burnt out on the horrors that humanity seems to be intent on perpetrating? So utterly exhausted with the greed, hate, and outrage junkies? Maybe it's just me.

I stand with: ifconfig netstat And a dozen other “deprecated” tools. Don’t break things just because they were invented in the 1970s Linux. RT if you agree.

Of all the things to start a viral twitter explosion, being a curmudgeon was not the one I expected to take off... however it does highlight that we don’t like change, or things that break our bash scripts (awk and sed parsing of the horrible ifconfig output not withstanding)😃
