Wait! Wait! Texas Tech is only one that spends money and “buys” players! How can this be? More false narrative! Do your homework like these folks have done to give you empirical evidence. Thank you for shedding true light on this subject.

Happy 83rd Birthday, Donny Anderson!
One of the most versatile NFL players of the Super Bowl era, or any era
A two-time All-American halfback from Texas Tech, Donny signed with the #Packers in late 1965 for $600,000 over three years — then the most lucrative rookie contract in the history of American sports.
He could do it all — run, catch, punt, pass, return kicks.
After six seasons and a Pro Bowl with Green Bay, the two-time Super Bowl champion was traded to the St. Louis Cardinals in 1972 — where he would finish his career with three more productive seasons.
