Gamecocks had a perfectly season and we see how mainstream media is covering it. You can be perfect and Black with televised evidence thereof…

I’ll never forget the time a lighter skinned Black man told me I should be grateful to him because our kids wouldn’t be as dark. 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫 What a bold assertion considering there were never going to be any kids.

No. The most interesting thing happening in my life when I have kids will be my kids. Right now, the most interesting thing happening is learning radiologic physics. I want my kid to feel my delight in them and I don’t have that to give right now!
People in their 30s with no kids, do you worry about being old parents?? Genuine question

And must be continued!
It may be time to admit that Vacation Bible School was a literacy camp.

Beyoncé, artist of my life. The body of work is truly mother, always giving life.

Thinking someone will use their skills just because they have them is short sighted. If that person doesn’t feel fairly compensated for their skills and the responsibility associated with them, they have every right not to use the skill.

I buy applesauce, the peach flavor from Wegman’s, 4 cases at a time. That’s 96 pouches. Applesauce is a cornerstone of my diet. Sincerely, A physician who sucks down applesauce between IR cases to stay alive

If a man threatens you with “you’re gonna die alone” he thinks you hate yourself enough that the idea of threatening you with your own company will make you choose to settle for a man. Some of y’all are big mad that women like themselves.

Thanks to science, I’ll only be giving birth to a girl.
As a woman if you want to be a mom WHY don’t you want to be a girl mom? That’s sus to me.

If you haven’t been a 30 something casually eating out, buying what you want, and vacationing when and where you want… you’ve never climbed a career ladder to know what you’re missing out on! You literally don’t have the comparison in your lived experience!
23yr old trad wives r so bold for saying shit like “Why I traded in a career & climbing the corporate ladder for homemaking.” Like… didn’t u get married at 21? I don’t think quitting ur college internship counts as trading in an established CAREER girl like be serious

Two Supreme Court justices will resign if Trump wins, and the 6-3 court will be locked in for another 20 years. Alternatively, both spots could open and be swapped. And we could have a 5-4 court for the next 20 years. You're not just voting for who is POTUS the next 4 years. You're voting for your rights for the next 20. Keep that in mind.

Very few men have high enough bedroom skills for women to risk pregnancy if birth control becomes difficult to get. I hope they marinate in that. Women will get real clear on who is worth the risk if they’re risking pregnancy every time.

Just so y’all know, there are quite a few women that will take a “until menopause has set in for 3 years” pause to sex should birth control become a problem in the US. We ain’t got to have it if the risk of having a kid is that high!

There are some lessons that need to be taught for sure…

Here’s the thing… if I was forced to “use my fertility now” bc IVF isn’t going to be available, I still wouldn’t opt into becoming a parent now.

I wonder if the main trauma of single motherhood is the woman is grieving a relationship and a life she expected to have with the dad. How different would it be if there was no originating trauma & your mom went down to the sperm bank, and had you bc she wanted you?

If the body changes & life changes were all explicitly her choice and she was simply moving through the plan she set up for herself, I imagine there’s very little trauma there and actually a considerable amount of joy!

I really think that if women can parse out that they want a child and they can afford it, they should explore single motherhood by choice and not complicate their lives with the thoughts, opinions, and possible trauma of another adult.
