hey #rstats - really weird ask that i find myself coming across time and time again. can i programmatically read an .r file as a text object and do basic texty things like search for words; count lines; etc?

Nerd humor. @RikaGorn and I were joking about needing a trunk for all our data junk in the warehouse. This morning I wake up to a new analytics warehouse named "DS_TRUNK" and I can't stop laughing. Can't wait for 'create table as junk in ds_trunk' 🤣🤣
so i have a shinyapp that uses downloadHandler() to render an rmd and let the user save it. When it renders for the user, i also want to save a copy of the same file to a google drive folder. Not even sure where to start or if this can happen inside downloadHandler() #rstats
