An Australian-designed nuclear reactor has just achieved criticality at Idaho National Laboratory and the demonstration equipment was transported there in the back of a Ford F-150. The Unity Nuclear Battery is targeting around 1 MW of electricity from a transportable microreactor. Think mines, remote communities, data centres or industrial work sites. Reliable 24/7 power without thousands of kilometres of new transmission is very attractive. While Australia continues arguing that nuclear is somehow impossible, an Australian is helping develop the technology in the United States. The rest of the world certainly isn’t waiting for us.

The ban on social media for children under 16 is an idea that has merits. But the way it is being done is simply a way to force everyone, including adults, to identify themselves online, creating the most powerful surveillance and censorship architecture in human history.

If I had Musk's trillion, I'd actually spend it on something useful, like developing reusable rockets to make space travel cheap instead of just hoarding it all.

If the socialists had their way, Elon would have had his paypal profits taken and redistributed for the greater good. The world would never have seen Tesla, nor SpaceX. And the world wouldn't know it, because they were uncreated, and thus unseen. Imagine the companies that don't exist, because Washington destroyed them before they were born.

The Fire the Liar campaign has officially crossed $2,000,000, and mobile billboards have already arrived in the Prime Minister’s seat. This has been an unprecedented surge in grassroots support from Australians, with the average donation at $59. Thank you!

Australia was handed one of the greatest starting positions of any country in history Massive mineral wealth. Abundant energy. World-class beaches. Amazing climate. No fault lines... no earthquakes or tsunamis If you gave a 12-year-old this setup in a civilisation-building game, they'd build a paradise Instead, we got decades of useless politicians on both sides of the aisle who couldn't run a sausage sizzle at Bunnings without a $4 billion feasibility study and a royal commission Australia isn't unlucky. It's grossly mismanaged

I’m DONE. 50 FUCKING YEARS of sweat. Two trades. Diploma engineering Busted my ass. Raised good kids. Paid every damn tax. Obeyed every law. Voted like they told me to. And for what? A system that laughs in our face. Politicians who lie straight to our facess. Promises of “better days” that were just bait. While THEY cash checks and WE get the bill. They mollycoddle their chosen voter base with exorbitant government grants, NDIS and assistance. Regardless how vile their statements against Australians and their celebrating of the most evil regime since hitler They blow 15 souls on bondi beach and this piece of shit takes guns from aussie farmers We built this country. We carried it on our backs. We’re the suckers who still believe in “hard work pays off.” Newsflash: It doesn’t. Not anymore. Not for honest, humble, middle-class hard working Australians We’re not “slaves” anymore. We’re awake. We’re pissed. And we’re not shutting up. Who else is fucking DONE being exploited?

Correct. My Tesla and SpaceX shares, which are almost all my “wealth”, only go up in value as a function of how much useful product those companies produce and service. This means my “wealth” can only increase due to producing more products and services for the public. Moreover, anyone else who is a shareholder in Tesla and SpaceX, which incudes employees, participates in the upside of stock appreciation. That is because I am a maker, not a taker like the Bernie Sanders type politicians of the world. They take and they’re on the take, because they cannot or will not make.
🧠🪱 Elons stocks aren’t wealth. If the number of Tesla shares doubled the world isn’t any richer. If the number of Tesla cars doubled, it’s measurably richer. For him to get to $1t in capital, he has to organize labor to set the means of production in motion to produce enough consumer wealth that his companies are worth trillions. Aka he has to ship wealth to consumers. Whoever runs on inequality isn’t a socialist. They aren’t running on “let’s build more houses or more hospitals” because they actually can’t find anyone competent who can organize labor so these things end up being built. The outcome is always just more state debt and inflation.

Melbourne, Australia, "Wrong country if you want to abuse women". Drew Baldridge, a Nashville based country music artist, recently performed here and describes a shocking incident one night at a McDonalds in Victoria. While the government floods the country with third world immigrants who have no respect for anyone, much less women, it's good to see some true blue aussies are fighting to protect our way of life.

Immigration has been ok for this country right up until Albanese used it to import voters. The Italians, Greeks and the Asian immigrants worked hard and did much to enrich the countries culture and economy. They also integrated with our way of life by and large. Immigration under Albanese has been poorly managed and we imported large numbers of culturally dissimilar races with value systems that are in complete conflict with our way of life. As a generalisation they brought little of value to Australia with them, they don't integrate and they seek to enforce their value systems on us. The crime rate has soared, the welfare drain has skyrocketed and social cohesion is crumbling. Australia is NOT a better place as a result of immigration policies under Albanese.
