Pay is decided by training needed, hours of working, responsibility, and wider global market. Doctors are paid more for a reason.

Additionally resident Drs are typically in the top of their school year with incredibly high STEM A level scores, they spend 5-6 years studying and finish with £100k debts. I took 19 years to get a consultant post, no one else trains for that long in the NHS - it’s a tough job!

The 24-year-old explained that she discarded Coll's water bottle, which contained notes detailing penalty statistics, into the contingent of English fans, while instead writing her own notes upon her arm to ensure Coll could not do similarly.

Tomorrow, the @gmcuk starts regulating non-doctors as it opens voluntary registration of AAs and PAs. It does so without any national agreement in place to confirm scope of practice for these roles, and therefore puts patient safety at risk.
