If you’re in Dallas, The Awakening plays today at the Dallas International Film Festival at 8pm at the Angelika Film Centre
A joy to help make. @DanielMays9 shows again why he is national treasure status. A huge thanks to him and everyone else involved. The best of the best including @AlCampbeII @ratbanjos @Toydrumofficial @cinemaeyes @platform_post - hope you can see more of this in the future..
Check out the trailer for a short film I starred in called The Awakening. I don’t do many shorts, but the talent and concept involved in this chilling horror has resulted in a genuinely unsettling and terrifying watch 😱 Directed by @AlCampbeII & produced by @Birdie_Pictures 🎬

I realise many of you out there are frustrated with the choices you’re being offered by both Labour and the LibDems. But surely we can agree that they are preferable to the Tories? If you live in a constituency with a sitting Conservative MP, as I do, 7/8
Mark was a true gent. Worked with Al and him on Code 404 & Two Weeks To Live and he was always charming and funny. Also hugely talented and nothing was too much for him, he just made issues go away without you knowing there were issues. A huge loss. Love to his friends and family
I’ve been working with the team @PapatangoTC for a while and they are astonishingly good at what they do. This is a terrific, honest thread about what it’s really like for non-profit creatives to actually get shit done. Please support them, go and watch the new show, Some Demon.
It’s get-in @arcolatheatre for 2023 #PapatangoPrize winner SOME DEMON by Laura Waldren. As we open this world premiere by a debut writer, we thought it might be useful to be transparent about what this show takes. The £££, the timeline, the risks, all of it.
So, here goes...

A sobering and highly disturbing piece everyone should read. Europe remains in a deep, stupid slumber.

This and things like it have always been on the cards. This is an example as to the reason why the City situation is so different from Everton and Forest. There is a direction of travel that this is the end of the league.
Still - best commercial team in the world.

My son is learning Romeo & Juliet in year 8. Though it would be nice to take him to see it, and there’s a new production in the West End. That’s the beauty of living in London, how easy it is to access culture…..It’s £250 for the lowest price ticket. Fucking obscene.

The @AngelaRayner saga. I get it. Attack dog attacked. Karma.
But really?
A police investigation into whether she was registered at wrong address?
Is that it?
Not that she voted twice, no act of personation.
It seems petty beyond belief and a total waste of police time

Nadhim Zahawi covered up and lied about £3m in unpaid tax for 6 years.
Will Rishi Sunak refer that to the Police?
This makes me sick to my stomach. It’s also madness. Hardly a vote winner you vile cockheads. Pease @UKLabour reverse this shitty shortsighted shitness when you’re at the crease. theguardian.com/education/20…
Even though I won’t be there, knowing two of the best crime writers around, and two writers whose books I am developing for TV, are meeting to talk all things murder-y, makes me happy.

This was #LFC without Alisson, TAA, Konate, Gravenberch, Jones and Jota.
And Salah/Robertson reduced to cameo roles.
There was frustration at the missed chances, anger at VAR, but more than anything pride.
A remarkable performance in the circumstances.
