Town centre shopping is poor, it has been let down kostly by planning.
Retailers need passing footfall, full spectrum across the day and evening if appropriate.
Councils need to curb out of town expansion, relocate transport and schooling into town centres and liberate parking.

Another @elonmusk fake account created in Africa.
Mark Wahlberg never made this statement, and it is a completely fabricated quote. The text originated as an opinion piece from a political blog rather than from an interview or public statement by Wahlberg. You can read a full investigation of this rumor on Yahoo Entertainment.

Liar Liar Liars ants on Fire -From Grok - I knew better - No, Mark Wahlberg did not say this.
This is a fabricated quote that has circulated widely on social media (Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, etc.) for years. Fact-checkers like Snopes have repeatedly rated it false. snopes.com
Always check this garbage first. Otherwise, you repeat lies and become a liar. You do not want to be a liar.

Bought these crazy looking boots in the UK from a company called #thermafits and despite the assurances they were waterproof they were not, complete rip off and now they've gone quiet when trying to return. Please be aware.
Not the deflation consumers or retailers need, the medium term in this is retailers having to recoup profit to meet shareholder expectations. Distressed sales are not a factor on the true economic hardship household suffer.

Shambles, so much potential wasted. Execs who are clue-less and careless, store experience poor and confused. They used to be the peoples champion now they are playing profit juggling and losing out to everybody else. Shame.

Most facets of modern life is more complex and the service industry has let is down hugely with a reduction in comoetence and care. The consumers have little or no agency and large Co. s take the money. We need a consumer champion with real teeth.

I am failing to be shocked by Tory incompetence any more, I must have become so used to it, maybe that was the plan all along
Evan Davis schooling Laura Trott on numbers.
I wish he'd also read out the shocking words of the Chair of the Office of Budget Responsibility a few weeks ago
“Beyond March 2025 the govt has told us virtually nothing....TO CALL THIS FICTION IS GENEROUS.
Someone has bothered to write fiction.
Whereas the govt hasn't even been bothered to write down what its department spending plans are underpinning public services."

Lucy Frazer, Nads’ replacement as Culture Sec is a spirited lass.
Look how she ties Marxist @KayBurley up in knots about perception & evidence.
If we Conservatives BELIEVE the BBC is biased that’s good enough.
WE DON’T NEED THE BLOODY EVIDENCE
Why can’t Comrade Burley see this!😡
Yep, easy vanity trumps climate safety.

Yep it's great seeing all the politicians stating how shocked and outraged they are. Pathetic bandwagon jumping. I hope every party recognises, as the electorate does, how stupid they now look.
I think its call cronyism, the reason we need a more transparent and accountable Government.
