Working Distal to Proximal: The back leg’s function/transition into internal rotation down the mound 💡
The ankle and foot have more influence on the back leg’s transition into IR than one may think.

I’ve had the pleasure to work with Evan the past 3+ years. He’s a guy that continues to push his development forward.
“Commit to the long haul.” A firm message we discussed back in HS. Our goal is close.
Now, out of surgery and a good Summer. 2027, watch out! ⬇️
@evan_smith2023
From 86-89 as a high school senior to 91.5 avg and 95 max at Maryland, coming off elbow surgery.
@evan_smith2023 has been with us since his senior year of high school, sitting 86-89 and topping out at 90-91. The path to where he is now was anything but a straight line. ↯

Cole Irvin is Tread's MiLB Pitcher of the Year! 🏆
In 2026, he became one of the most durable arms in Triple-A. Pitching for Oklahoma City (AAA), he led the Pacific Coast League in wins (12) and ERA (3.33), tied for the league lead in starts (28), and ranked 2nd in innings (137.2). 💪

Norby is one of the more process oriented pitchers to his craft that I have been fortunate enough to coach. I couldn’t be more happy to see his name called.
Cincinnati, here he comes 🧙♂️

With their 4th-round pick (No. 122 overall), the @Reds select @ECUBaseball left-handed pitcher Ethan Norby, No. 167 on the Top 250 Draft prospects list.

After an amazing Sophomore campaign, Cayden was awarded Big East Pitcher of the Year. Now, he finds his new home for next year. Looking forward to what’s in store.
Congrats! @CaydenSuchy

PORTAL COMMIT: That's a really nice get by @FSUBaseball. Suchy, a lefty, had a 2.82 ERA this past season and struck out 105 batters in 85.1 innings of work. Nice weapon for PC Micah Posey.

A lot to love about what Tate can do. There’s no question about his ability to help a program on the mound. ⬇️

A special moment that all players dream of. Pumped for my guy, Brycen. He put his nose down and demanded better.
The work has payed off over the past 2 years and has rightfully earned his debut.

As a player you experience a ton of trial and error process in the development space. Having a coach help you identify where you are and where you need to go is so pivotal.
@CraigStem and I dive deep into the paths we took & what we would’ve benefited doing sooner. ⬇️

The @Cardinals Minor League Pitcher of the Year is filthy. 🤢
@BrycenMautz swung by Tread HQ just days after his 2025 season ended and did not disappoint in his exit pen. 👀
He's picking up where he left off with a 2.95 ERA in 21.1 innings to start 2026. 📈

Special moment for the kid. Let’s go! @norby_ethan 🏴☠️
Solid outing against one of the top teams in Canada. 7ks through 3IP, up to 95, still more work to be done.

Rom had been rehabbing a shoulder injury and tossed a 3.86 ERA in 23.1 MiLB innings upon his return to the mound last season with the Cardinals. 📈

The Milwaukee Brewers have signed Drew Rom to a minor league contract. The pitcher has 556 strikeouts in 474.0 innings pitched throughout his minor league career.

Bryan Sammons (@bryan_sammons32) looked polished and dominant.
He comfortably sat in the low 90's with his FB (touching 22" VB), had a CH down to 1.2" VB in the low 80's, a low 80's sweeper, a mid 80's cutter, and a curve in the upper 70's.

DJ Snelten has been signed.
#Padres are in agreement on a minor league deal with 33-year-old LHP DJ Snelten, a league source tells me.
Snelten, who last pitched in the Majors in 2018, recently touched 102.7 mph in a bullpen and has consistently sat 99 mph this offseason.
Viewed internally as legitimate MLB depth given the velocity.

Dietrich Enns went nearly 3,000 days between MLB starts.
His journey took him through 14 professional seasons, a stint in indy ball, Japan, and Korea before finally earning another shot at 34 years old.
From a 19th-round pick with long odds to a multi-million-dollar contract in Baltimore, this is how @DietrichEnns completely rebuilt his career.
