Watch this 80-second clip of ITV’s coverage of the 50th anniversary of VE Day from London in 1995 and weep for what we have lost.
What we have thrown away in just three decades.
Damn forever the politicians who allowed this to happen and the media class that was complicit.

🚨BREAKING: A British teenager is going viral after saying: “They are forcing us to learn about Islam and prophet Mohammed in school. I don’t want to learn about that. I want to learn about my culture. I'm proud to be English!”
Do you agree with him?
Franz Suchomel, an SS sergeant at Treblinka, on hidden camera, describing the Lazarett, a fake infirmary where the old, the sick and children were shot at the edge of a burning pit:
“There was a white flag with a red cross. They didn’t know yet that they would be shot there.”
Lanzmann: “And children too?”
Suchomel: “Children too.”
Lanzmann: “Which children were sent to the Lazarett?”
Suchomel: “Sick children. Or if the mother was sick or the grandmother was old … then the children were sent along with the grandmother.”
Lanzmann: “How many people were shot in the Lazarett?”
Suchomel: “Let’s take it per day, not per transport. … Could have been twenty, but also two hundred.”
This is qt'ing a model I posted the other day of the Lazarett, to give some context to what it looked like.
Sourced from Claude Lanzmann’s Shoah outtakes at USHMM (RG-60.5046, reels FV3755 and FV3757). English captions translated from Suchomel’s German, with important help from @gaemsae. I joined four sections of the interview into one clip. Cut and captioned by me.
I'm working on modeling the camps, and one of the more obscure things about Treblinka was The Lazarett, which was effectively a shed and a burn pit, disguised as a medical area. When Jews would get off the train, anyone who would slow down or disrupt the gassing process (the infirm, the sick, children), would be sent to the "medical center", where they would be shot in the back of the neck and dumped into the cremation pit.
The first image is the approach, the second what you would experience once inside, and the third the view from above.
Göring needed ten minutes to humiliate the American prosecutor at Nuremberg. It took a Soviet lawyer and a folder of Göring's own papers to finish him.
Here he is with his pet lion cub Caesar, in the days when he thought nobody would ever hold him to account. At the trial he called himself an old hunter.
80 years ago this week, he cheated the gallows with a cyanide capsule.
At the trial, he ran rings around the American prosecutor Robert Jackson. One judge wrote that within ten minutes Göring was "the complete master" of him.
Then Soviet prosecutor Roman Rudenko took over. No speeches, only Göring's own papers.
Göring claimed Germany struck the USSR because it was threatened. Rudenko got him to admit the Luftwaffe's plan for the invasion was ready in November 1940, seven months before the attack.
Then he read out Göring's own speech from August 1942: "I intend to plunder, and to do it thoroughly."
Göring: "I do not deny that I said that."
The old hunter had walked into his own trap😏

Our streets increasingly smell of cannabis.
People should not have to put up with it in public spaces.
We must not accept it as normal.
What @waitrose goes this mean? A warm glow on drinking alcohol? Why not say that? It’s not English to write ‘glow up’, it being as meaningless as ‘sparkle down’, for instance.
Please please find some editorial standards.

In 1993, Jeffrey Dahmer was 33 years old, serving 999 years inside a maximum security prison in Wisconsin. Three guards escorted him everywhere. One on each arm. Handcuffs on at all times. The most dangerous human being in America - kept alive only so he could rot in a cell.
This interview was never meant to be seen. It sat in the Inside Edition archives for 30 years.
In the video below, a monster wearing a human face sits across from journalist Nancy Glass and answers the one question nobody expected him to answer honestly.
Are the urges still there?
He paused. Then said he wished he could tell her they were gone. But no. Even locked inside concrete and steel, serving nearly a thousand years - the compulsions that turned him into a predator were still hunting inside his head.
He didn't kill out of rage. Not out of hatred. He said he killed 17 men because he wanted to keep them. That the obsession grew until skulls and skeletons weren't enough. Then came cannibalism. Spoken the same way a normal man would describe a habit he couldn't shake.
He asked for several breaks during filming.
His hands wouldn't stay still the entire time.
Fourteen months after this interview, another inmate killed him in prison. When asked what he deserved, Dahmer didn't hesitate for a second.
"I deserve death," he said.
Some people are beyond saving. Some things wear a human face and never were one.
Was there ever a version of this story that ended differently?
🙋🏼♂️ @GlasgowCC is this true?

The scenes in France are gut-wrenching. As so often, Eric Zemmour has it right. This is not the people of France on the streets – those who work hard, pay their taxes, and love their country. It is an alliance of the Far Left and the rabble from the banlieue, the ‘New France’ that a liberal elite has imported, that is engaged in a frenzy of smashing and looting. It is ‘a parody of a revolution’.
Zemmour calls for an end to appeasement and for the state to restore order at all costs. Of course, he is right. But as so many have commented, France is reaping the consequences of decades of judicial laxity, growing violence, mass immigration, Islamisation of its ‘lost territories’, and the abandonment of standards in schools on the part of its ruling liberal elite. Authority has collapsed, leaving only paralysis and appeasement, presided over by a posturing ‘garden Napoleon’ in the form of Macron.
The omens are not good, to say the least. Let us only hope, with Zemmour, that ‘Eternal France’ has not said its last word.

Read this powerful article by @thetimes , and reflect on what has been shared..
This is not just “persecution by (extremely clumsy) process” imposed upon active-duty SAS operators fighting to detain vicious ISIS thugs in an active war zone, but also an example of performative self-immolation initiated by the most senior UK Special Forces officer at the time (G Jenkins) as self-serving exercise in what HE calls ‘transparency’……
So, if someone, anyone (quite possibly an enemy) within an active war zone says the SAS killed an unarmed man, then the so-called ‘senior leaders’ (some, as in this case, with near-zero combat experience) within the Whitehall-based ‘UK system’ desperate to demonstrate something that they call ‘transparency’ (or whatever else floats the MOD’s boat), will automatically launch an aggressive RMP operation to detain the SAS men involved….
Not on the basis of any hard evidence (there is no crime scene, no bodies, no bullets etc), but purely on distant, uncorroborated hearsay and remote, delayed analysis of operational reports; all supported by desk-bound, chinless leaders that seemingly care more about how they will (personally) look in an MOD promotion board than trying to properly understand the circumstances faced by the SAS men and defend them accordingly.
What a gift this utterly pathetic weakness, low threshold investigative process and twisted self-defeating system gives to our many enemies….and what an awful message it sends to those that still volunteer to fight on our all of our behalves….
