An important decision has been taken to grant one additional attempt (mercy attempt) to pass the first professional MBBS examination for students admitted from the academic year 2019-20 and onwards. This step addresses the exceptional circumstances faced by students, including:
1.Disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
2.Health-related issues
3.Other personal and family difficulties
As a result of special efforts made for these students and their parents, this relief has paved the way for realizing the dream of becoming a doctor for all these students.
This student friendly initiative reflects the unwavering commitment of Honourable Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji and Honourable Minister Shri @JPNadda Ji towards student welfare.

Patient-centric healthcare extends beyond clinical care—it is about ensuring that every patient and attendant receives timely guidance, support and compassion throughout their hospital journey.
Today, in the presence of Union Minister Shri @mansukhmandviya , reviewed the expansion of Project SARATHI across healthcare institutions by leveraging the strength of 'MY Bharat' volunteers. We discussed a scalable framework to institutionalise this youth-led initiative, which has successfully enhanced patient experience through trained volunteers providing non-clinical assistance, while enabling healthcare professionals to focus on clinical care.
