Okay, badge.laravel.cloud/ is now a thing. Really happy with the @laravel cloud domain 😄 Still a few things I want to do, but I thought it would be better to get it out there instead of letting it gather dust.

I found a CRITICAL auth bypass in Laravel 🚨 (9.2/10) On MySQL/MariaDB, Laravel's token API guard let an unauthenticated attacker log in as an existing victim user. Patched in 12.68.0 & 13.29.0. Thanks to the @laravel team & @taylorotwell for the fast fix 🙏 More info 👇

Had a feeling we might get this eventually. GREAT IDEA. You know how mental it is that you can make a Firebase app or Google Cloud and there's no email provider? Built in email delivery should be a must for a cloud platform.
Setting up transactional emails for your app is now easier than ever! Add email sending to any Laravel Cloud environment with our first-party @resend integration. Here’s how you get set up 🧵

My kind of vibe coding
Vibe coding, DIY hardware, and 3D printing will lead to a renaissance in arcade-style gaming.

Fakeception Make a video that shows you faking things with AI. Which itself is a real video because the AI product isn't good enough to make the fake. Reality is getting very weird.
larp.ai to beat the single allegations made with higgsfield genjutsu API

Has anyone made a skill to improve the writing of PHP with PHPStan types etc? Seems like something that's got a lot of value. I find agents still don't really do defensive programming that well.
Today I learned, @phpstan knows generics in traits too 😇 this is how we can use them

We've launched a brand new website design couple weeks ago, with focus on clear docs, advanced rule filters and beautiful code snippets 🤩 How do you like it? (Press "F" or "D" for easter 🥚)

Yes, I never spent time watching movies or listening to music. 🤪 You basically have to ignore the whole of the 00's piracy, which was driven by tech people for tech people, to get this take.
Tech people will never have taste because they didn’t spend their formative years discovering new bands, flipping through old magazines, watching obscure movies and reading books that weren’t required for English class. They don’t understand taste is cultivated over a lifetime.

If there's one thing I'm convinced of, it's that no software engineer should be using git manually anymore. Utterly pointless. AI Agents make resolving issues so much better and faster. I'll die on this hill.

Does anyone find AI agent design still really lacking? I feel like I have to really prompt it hard to make significant changes, and it often defaults to very generic ideas. Any skills I should absolutely be using?

Only a few days left of this offer
I might regret this one 😅 For a limited time, your first month of ZXN Studio is just $1. That includes 100 GB of cloud storage, which means if you actually use it all, I’m literally losing money on your first month. Record, edit and share with ZXN Studio. 👉 zxn.studio

Today I used jspaint.app/ Wanted to give Claude a crude example of what I wanted and Mac doesn't have a paint app so you know...

Smart move. This is the next step that AI has needed. Most humans don't want text. They want a presentation. Imagine you use any agent to choose a feature and then it talks you through the changes. Almost like it's selling you how good the work it.
GPT-6 and Intelligent UI, now rolling out in ChatGPT for everyone. Intelligent UI in ChatGPT delivers fast, interactive answers that make everyday questions more visual, complex topics easier to grasp, and interactive tools for your task available on the spot.

Is this really that big a problem right now? We've had micro cameras for decades. I had a pen with a camera in it back in 2010.
JUST IN: Australia, Britain, & Norway are moving to ban smart glasses in public settings over privacy concerns.

This is one of my big fears still. Mixing any stuff between work and personal life feels risky. I still struggle to get Claude code to not reply to GitHub comments without permission. I at least managed to block use by configuration but honestly AI still does some weird things.
Embarrassed to share this, but it scared the shit out of me Last Thursday, an AI agent posted my personal bank balances into our company Slack. As me It broke down all my expenses in detail. Then it apologized Be careful of the dark side of proactive agents More below...

Selling/Buying property is the worst. It highlights how dumb, rude and inconsiderate the majority of the population is 👍

This is kind of a yikes moment, because there's a good chance people are breaching GDPR to do so. No different than sending customer data with their own email accounts.
JUST IN: UK workers are reportedly spending an estimated $1.3 billion of their own money on generative AI tools for their jobs each year, without expensing it.

I'm curious, have many Laravel folks moved to agent dev on remote machines over running locally? It feels like a no-brainer step for me. I still use agents 90% of the time locally and occasionally do some work in the Claude Code web UI. I just have spent time on it.
