pro EU, strategic autonomy

Joined August 2026
40 days later, let's come back to the fact that I "revealed" the information, which sparked criticism : -I did not reveal the offensive; there were already numerous rumors and posts circulating online. -A number of Russian and pro-Russian accounts had shared a great deal of information starting August 15, indicating that they were already aware of it. -Most of the offensive operations—including the effort to cut off the salient—had already concluded by September 9; I used only information dating from August 25 or earlier. -The offensive was initially slated to be announced before the end of August, but the publication date was pushed back by two weeks following further successes (which I did not cover). -In reality, the criticism is primarily directed at the fact that I did not follow the official release schedule (I acknowledge that adhering to such a schedule is part of the units' duties).

About how the operation was conducted, my thread from September is still very accurate, corresponding to most of the information that were later published by official sources. xitter.cf/clement_molin/status/2…

We can now say this with certainty, the Ukrainian counter-offensive managed to prevent any offensive on Lyman, Izium, Sloviansk and further Barvinkove. Right now, the Izium-Sloviansk highway is out of reach of most of the FPV drones.

This year, I presented multiple times what Russian 🇷🇺 plan was, as we can imagine it thanks to KABs strikes, offensive axes and troops concentrations. The plan was to (and is still) encircle Donbas from the south, but also the north, after taking Lyman.

NATO warns Zelensky that Trump could completely halt air defense supplies to Ukraine The US has been supplying Ukraine with Patriot interceptor missiles irregularly in recent months, even though European allies have already paid for them. According to Bloomberg, NATO officials have warned Ukrainian officials that deliveries could stop entirely if the conflict between Zelensky and Trump continues. Meanwhile, The New York Times reports that Witkoff and Kushner intend to push Ukraine into a peace deal on Russia’s terms. The Americans are trying to persuade Zelensky to abandon claims to occupied territories in exchange for a deal that would benefit Moscow.
Trump may try to force Ukraine to make concessions to Russia before December According to The Washington Post, Moscow is trying to use the Trump administration to secure Ukrainian concessions on Donbas. The Kremlin could later demand restrictions on Ukraine’s military capabilities as well. Andrew Weiss, an expert at the Carnegie Endowment, believes Trump’s actions are linked to efforts to reach a political settlement on terms that could force Kyiv to make concessions. A G20 summit is scheduled to take place in Miami in December, and Trump has invited Putin. The Kremlin views these developments as a sign of closer ties between Moscow and Washington.

We suspected this was the reason Ukraine’s access to Starshield was restricted. But to see it from senior officials in this reporting is still utterly unconscionable. Let’s be absolutely clear about what this means. The Trump Administration deliberately restricted technology Ukraine relies on to intercept Russian drones and ballistic missiles. It made it harder for Ukraine to defend itself and easier for Russia to carry out its deadly attacks against Ukrainian civilians. They knew exactly what was at stake. They knew that more Russian drones and missiles would get through, allowing Russia to kill even more Ukrainians. And yet they went ahead anyway. This is a deliberate weaking of Ukraine’s defenses that only Russia will benefit from. It is a betrayal of our ally that this Administration cannot wash its hands of. The American people deserve to know who made this decision, why they made it, and how they can possibly justify putting more innocent Ukrainian lives in the crosshairs of Putin’s war machine. reuters.com/world/europe/ord…
