@axs I have tried 5x times to purchase tickets and continually get errors checking out. Now I cannot even look at tickets because I am flagged as a bot. This is ridiculous.

@Uber I have been stuck waiting for a ride at Houston International airport for 45+ minutes. My estimated ride time has doubled after two drivers cancelled. I tried contacting support and the app won’t let me. Please help. I just want to get home to my family.

Imagine being the DPRK learning they didn’t need a nuclear weapons program. Instead they could have just sent some balloons and inflicted mass chaos.

I really want to meet this sentient AI everyone is talking about. My @EufyOfficial robot vac has gotten stuck under the fridge 4 times today. Maybe they can collab?

It's hard to run an international airline when you are barred for most major airspace and don't have parts to service your fleet.

We’ve received thousands of questions on the Geneva Conventions. So, we’re going to break down the rules of war you need to know right now. All states have signed these – and are legally obligated to follow them. Thread 👇

For anyone out of the loop on Ukraine, here's a great primer of what's happened with solid assessment and context. Shout out to ⁦@WarOnTheRocks⁩ for its solid content. pca.st/episode/656b7986-90b8…
Russia is not a member of the ICC (and neither is the US for that matter). Still, I am hopeful that the perpetrators of these war crimes are held accountable for their atrocities. espresso.economist.com/ec967…
Russia had the upper hand - it had time and planning on its side and squandered it's advantage. Reports suggest they are regrouping so this may only be a temporary setback.
It really does appear to be the case that despite a meticulous 1 year build up of the biggest invasion force Europe has seen in 50+ years, no one bothered to tell anyone down the Russian chain of command about what they were going to be doing and why up until the last minute 🧵
Putin even looks isolated in his own meetings.

One thing when looking at maps like this is to note that Russian forces don’t necessarily control or hold all of the terrain they’ve passed.

I would love to read an analysis by @adam_tooze on the economics of why Putin undertook this war given these apparent supply-chain issues. Very much reminds me of his book, Wages of Destruction.

3/7 The next Russian weapons can be produced in 3-4 months – if even that. They have no raw materials. What was previously supplied mainly from Slovenia, Finland and Germany is now cut off.
As we watch this war unfold from the comfort of our homes, please remember: There is a human toll, and there are no real *winners* in war.

I would not send any money to these. Seems to similar to other account hijackings in the past.
