You see, "God said such and such in the Old Testament", all the time, used for all kinds of perverse justifications.
They always mean Yhwh, of course.
Problem: Yhwh isn't God. Yhwh is a son -of- God.
God GAVE the Hebrews (Jacob) TO Yhwh.
Christianity hasn't taught you this, because it's the "other gospel" we were warned of, invented by the "church fathers". Why do you think Christianity called them that? Maybe because it's THEIR church, not Jesus's?

And? Anyone can CLAIM anything. Doesn't make it true. Jesus said they'd be known by their fruit. Yhwh's fruit is rotten, and good tree cannot bear bad fruit.

Well, I suppose we'll have to take down the statue of Daniel O'Connell on O'Connell Street, a few feet north of O'Connell Bridge, and rename the street and the bridge.
After all, we surely can't publicly honour a man who was guilty of uttering words that, according to Micheál Martin, are "unacceptable" and "tantamount to incitement", now can we?

The big problem is those that follow Christianity believe it's something Jesus started. But He didn't.
Christianity / Catholicism was created long after Jesus by the men we now call the church fathers. Their name literally tells you that.
The same person, Ignatius of Antioch, coined both terms Christianity and Catholicism, around the beginning of the second century. Original christians ≠ Christianity.
