Tactical Compute: the driving force behind BeamRWA.
We're in a compute drought. It's not from scarcity, but from AI's hunger for power.
The solution? Idle GPUs in data centers worldwide waiting to be tokenized.

The irony is painful:
We're building the future of decentralised infrastructure, but we're still begging centralised banks for loans
There's a massive gap here, and @USDai_Official on @arbitrum might just be the bridge we've been waiting for 👇

1/ We wanted to bring real infrastructure onchain as loan collateral
But no RWA framework gave us what we needed: insured assets, verified existence, or enforceable ownership
So we built CALIBER: the legal/tokenization engine behind @USDai_Official. See how it works ↓

I am so excited for this project to launch, and stoked that they chose @arbitrum as home.
Crypto and blockchains as a mechanism for capital formation is in its infancy. ICOs (and the regulated ones like @legiondotcc offers) are a killer use case, but that is only the equity side.
Have crypto as a mechanism for efficiently pooling on the debt side as well is just such a fascinating next step. Want to see them crush it.
DeFi yields have declined. Rather than recycling TradFi yields, the real opportunity comes from generating crypto-native yield through DePIN & AI infrastructure.
@USDai_Official unlocks this potential by bringing a multi-billion dollar compute financing market on-chain.
Today, stablecoin yield has largely come from lending revenue & T-Bills. However, the AI revolution presents an untapped source of yield: the physical infrastructure powering it.
The problem is hardware is illiquid, but USDAI tackles the issue by transforming hardware into liquid, productive capital with its synthetic dollar.
DePIN operators can collateralize hardware assets. Through USDAI InfraFi looping, operators collateralize hardware for fixed-rate, amortizing loans.
These loans prioritize lender safety with ~70% LTV (~30% equity cushion) and ongoing principal repayment, enabling operators to leverage hardware for faster scaling and potentially higher returns.
How does it work?
First, USDAI uses the CALIBER framework with legal standards like UCC Section 7 and rigorous due diligence processes (site visits, insurance) to create NFTs bringing physical hardware like GPUs on chain.
Secondly, USDAI uses a modular underwriting system to ensure loan quality & scalability. @PermianLabs will be the sole underwriter at launch specializing in compute assets.
As USDAI grows, additional underwriters will be onboarded to support other emerging hardware-intensive businesses.
Stablecoin Powered By Compute
USDai itself is the synthetic dollar backed by assets held within a portfolio of hardware-backed lending pools. It aggregates value from underlying Liquid Credit Tokens (LCTs) which represent shares in specific loan pools.
Initially, USDai will be made up of T-bills powered by @m0foundation during the bootstrapping phase, offering stable treasury yields for early liquidity.
As more hardware loans are underwritten, this backing will shift over time.
USDai can be staked for sUSDai, which will receive T-bill yield initially and hardware loan yield later on. The goal is to eventually increase yield to 100% hardware backing, targeting returns significantly higher than traditional rates.
Recognizing that high hardware backing impacts liquidity, USDAI also plans to implement QEV (Queue Extractable Value), an auction mechanism designed to manage redemptions efficiently during these later stages.
This approach connects DeFi's efficiency with real-world hardware needs, offering operators crucial leverage and DeFi users a novel, RWA-backed yield source tied directly to the AI revolution's infrastructure growth.

Replying to @USDai_Official
@USDai_Official, developed by @permianlabs, is creating an entirely new category in the stablecoin market, blending treasury-backed stability with AI infrastructure financing to target impressive yields.
Most stablecoins follow a simple model: issue tokens backed by reserves, collect interest on those reserves, and share none of it with users. Tether and Circle have built billion-dollar businesses while holders receive zero yield.
USD.AI takes a fundamentally different approach with a two-token system:
USDai: A non-yield-bearing stablecoin that's fully backed by US Treasuries through @m0foundation's $M token, providing instant redeemability and stability
sUSDai: A high-yield token that earns from both the Treasury yield generated by USDai's backing AND from loans secured by AI infrastructure assets
The treasury backing utilizes the M^0 protocol for its foundation. M^0's $M token infrastructure enables T+1 redemptions (trade date plus one day) through a distributed network of Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs).
SPVs are separate legal entities created specifically to hold US Treasury assets. These SPVs are bankruptcy-remote, meaning they're legally isolated from the parent company's financial risks, protecting token holders even if the issuing company faces difficulties.
Here's where it gets interesting: while USDai itself doesn't generate yield for holders, the interest from its Treasury backing flows to sUSDai holders. Additionally, sUSDai earns yield from Liquid Credit Tokens (LCTs) through @metastreetxyz's protocol.
How does sUSDai generate its impressive yields?
Through two sources:
Treasury Yield: sUSDai captures all interest generated from the US Treasuries backing USDai.
Infrastructure Loans: sUSDai earns additional yield from loans backed by AI infrastructure assets like GPU farms, data centers, and telecom equipment. These loans are represented on-chain as MetaStreet's LCTs, providing income from borrower repayments.
For example, when a GPU farm needs expansion capital, they can secure a loan through MetaStreet's protocol. The interest payments on these loans (which can be substantial given the strong cash flows from AI infrastructure) flow to sUSDai holders.
This creates a higher-risk, higher-reward option compared to USDai, with sUSDai subject to a 30-day redemption window and potential value loss if underlying loans default.
This M^0 integration is crucial because it handles the complex treasury management while allowing @permianlabs to focus on USD.AI's unique value proposition: financing network infrastructure assets that generate strong cash flows but are typically illiquid and capital-intensive.
By bridging decentralized physical infrastructure networks (DePINs) with the capital they need, USD.AI enables these projects to achieve over 300% growth through debt financing. This creates a virtuous cycle: infrastructure projects get the capital they need to scale, while sUSDai holders receive substantial yield from these real-world assets.
This isn't just innovation for its own sake – it's addressing real market needs for both yield-hungry crypto users and capital-starved AI infrastructure projects.
As stablecoins evolve from simple dollar substitutes into sophisticated financial instruments, USD.AI shows how they can actively finance the infrastructure underpinning our digital future.
Expect to see more stablecoins in 2025/2026 breaking away from the traditional stablecoin yield model 👀
.@USDAI_Official has integrated $M via USD.AI, a synthetic dollar protocol built on M^0 to help power the growth of DePIN infrastructure and InfraFi.
This integration will convert idle $USDC into $M via USD.AI to earn passive T-bill yield. Unlike traditional stablecoins, $M shares the underlying T-bill yield with holders.
Powered by M^0’s programmable stablecoin platform and @metastreetxyz’s lending tech.
