My mom groups/group texts are flooded like never before with advice about how to move your family out of the US, serious discussions about the pros and cons of staying, and assurances it’s not unreasonable to leave. At this point I don’t know if I’m a bad parent for staying #guns

I talked to a city traffic engineer and it turns out one of the reasons we don’t have real protected bike lanes is because drivers don’t like it when they hit concrete barriers and damage their cars so cyclists are left with plastic sticks and paint for protection.
Do i have this right? Bc of gun violence, parents have to find childcare without even 24 hour notice. DPS offering care at 14 sites only for kids already enrolled in the before/after school program. Kids will go without meals, be home unattended, parents risk jobs to stay home
