Instead of inspiring trust, it is a small weight in the back of your mind, every time you operate it. And certainly a big one in the pocket.
Because of it’s increased weight and its poor distribution, it feels like a very needy device. One that requires constant attention and care.
The absurdly huge cameras concentrate the weight towards the top of the device. Try to operate it with one hand, and in a desperate attempt to reach the top of the screen with your thumb, see how it behaves: it will, ever so slightly, threaten to fall.
The 14 Pro, in comparison, expects the human to adapt to it. The weight is its bigger problem, as it is so poorly distributed.
It is good at everything and mostly gets off the way. It knows its place in the universe: it knows it is just a tool.
It is well balanced, both in terms of weight and size. Never does it make you feel like _you’re holding it wrong_.
