Countries that stage successful revolution are usually faced with more evil than stupidity but in Nigeria, we are faced with more stupidity than evil
"Stupidity does not mean that you cannot be powerful" but in Nigeria we often think that power/money negates presence of stupidity
Messi fans who've called Ronaldo a tapin merchant who only sits around in the box for the last 20 years, are in the quotes saying he doesn't make runs into the box.
😂 You can only laugh at the cognitive dissonance of these people.
Average Nigerian elder stopped learning in their 20s. Now they're just reacting to life with deap-seated presumptions that would never change even if it hurts them badly and ruins their lives. Unchangeable, unchangeable. Coconut heads for real.

After that endsars event, some of these Muslim extremists were defending it and defining what a massacre is and is not , they even said nobody died etc
Just for me to realise the reason why they defended that nonsense is because religion told them not to challenge leaders 🤦♂️

Is this really coming from a Muslim? Have you ever heard of Muhammad, the man who married Aisha at six, consummated the marriage when she was nine, told women not to wear perfume outside lest they attract men, married multiple wives, had concubines and sex slaves, and promised his male followers virgins in Paradise?
The same man whose teachings are used to justify women covering themselves from head to toe to avoid tempting men?
And you have the audacity to lecture others about SELF-CONTROL? 🤡
The irony is absolutely ridiculous.

For many of us, punishment growing up was about compliance, not learning right from wrong. That can produce adults who obey when watched but aren’t necessarily responsible. Consequences should teach, not simply control. This is not an argument for beating children though. 1/2

Most Nigerians don't know that Bola Tinubu's New Tax Law is actually more Dangerous and Wicked than this Fuel Subsidy Removal we are suffering from today.

Peter Obi and Kwankwaso must mobilise Nigerians NOW! The madness of this APC-appointed INEC chairman, openly defying the law by refusing to publish the voters’ register, must not go unchallenged. Enough of this electoral impunity!

Where are the Yoruba defenders? This is where you’d realize the mantle of tribal defense they put on was for APC’s use all along.
Ogun Govt Suspends King Akinyemi Over Partisan Politics, Orders Him To Vacate Palace And Stop Wearing Crown
The Ogun State Government has suspended the Eselu of Iselu Kingdom, Oba Akintunde Akinyemi, pending an investigation into allegations of partisan political activities.
Governor Dapo Abiodun’s media aide, Kayode Akinmade, said in a statement on Tuesday that the State Executive Council approved the suspension under Section 52(1) of the Ogun State Obas and Chiefs Law, 2021.
Akinmade said the decision was conveyed in a letter dated October 20, 2026, signed by the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Ganiyu Hamzat.
He said, “According to the letter, the council acted following several complaints concerning the traditional ruler’s conduct, particularly his alleged involvement in overtly partisan political activities, some of which were reportedly publicised by him.
“The government noted that partisan politics was contrary to customary law and prohibited by statute, warning that such conduct could undermine the dignity of the traditional institution and threaten peaceful coexistence among subjects with different political affiliations.”
Akinmade said the suspension was in the interest of peace, order and good governance, particularly in Iselu Kingdom.
The letter to the monarch partly read, “Consequently, during the suspension period, you must: vacate and stay away from the palace of Eselu; You must not parade yourself or acknowledge any recognition as Eselu of Iselu Kingdom; You must not wear or use any crown (beaded or not), Ileke, beaded staff, Irukere, and any other paraphernalia of an Oba; and
“Present yourself promptly to any meeting or sitting convened by the state government to investigate the allegations against you. Please be guided accordingly.”
The letter was also sent to the Secretary of Yewa North Local Government and the Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Bode Ojajuni, for necessary action.

UTD in 21/22 were BOTTOM 3 in distance covered.
Their T4 player in distance covered, T4 player w/ most sprints in the entire team (T2 among the FWDs) and T3 in achieving top KM/H was a 36-37 year old Ronaldo.
In the UCL Ronaldo covered the most distance.

I don’t even have an opinion on the distressed child part but every time Nigerians say that lack of beating is making us produce uncouth irresponsible children now, I look at the adults and elders who were beaten and are supposedly responsible in this our society lol.

once again i believe a more nefarious reason sex ed isn’t prevalent in this country is that it would provide the kids with the ability to preempt, recognize and speak about abuse.
Am I overthinking this? Because I am genuinely struggling to understand what is happening in Nigeria.
@inecnigeria has disregarded the Electoral Act by failing to publish the voters’ register online for public scrutiny, even after the statutory 90-day deadline has passed.
Even under Mahmood Yakubu, the register was published online, with a mechanism for complaints and objections.
Today, NOTHING!
And somehow, the country has moved on like nothing happened.
WHERE IS THE OUTRAGE?
Apart from @ARISEtv and @fijnigeria, where is the Nigerian media?
Where are @YIAGA, @EUinNigeria @EU_SDGN , @NDI and the other civil society organisations?
@NigeriaNDCHQ .@ADCNig ARE YOU PEOPLE SLEEPING? Are you actually preparing for this election?
This is the voters’ register we are talking about. THE VERY FOUNDATION OF AN ELECTION!
INEC has effectively said, “To hell with public scrutiny. Do your worst.”
And our collective response is SILENCE.
I am genuinely pained.
We complain about electoral malpractice and compromised institutions, yet when it is time to demand accountability BEFORE an election, everybody suddenly goes quiet.
Must we wait until votes are cast and results are disputed before we start shouting?
Seriously, am I the only one who finds this silence deeply disturbing?

It is from the mundane ordinary things that you get to properly understand Nigeria. Drilling a deep water well costs at least $100m but here is the regulator inviting licence winners to come for a 2 day “training”. Who has $100m to spend (with no guarantee of success) and needs “training” on what to do next?
From this we can infer the kind of people who have been awarded the licences…
So you bidded for an oil block, you won, you’ve paid the signature bonus and have been awarded a lease. So what’s the next step?
In the past, many companies were unable to develop their blocks because they lacked the commercial or technical capability.
The consequence of this was that these assets sat idle, depriving the Nigerian people of jobs and the government of revenue.
To change this trend, the NUPRC is for the next two days holding an onboarding programme for the latest awardees of the Petroleum Prospecting Licence (PPL).
Subject matter experts with decades of experience drawn from various departments in the NUPRC as well as external facilitators will provide new licensees with the knowledge that will take them from exploration to first oil.
The entire 2-day event will be streamed live on our social media pages. Follow the NUPRC on X, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram to be part of it.
