Hardest problems I hit:
•Airflow invisible inside opaque glass → SVG overlay clipped to a live camera cabin probe
•Wrong vent anchor → parsed the GLB offline for real world coords
Engineering log is in the README:

I tried to clone the @Tesla app in @reactnative — with a live 3D Model 3 you can tap to open doors, frunk, and trunk, climate etc. Video demo👇
@expo + @threejs + Reanimated.
Unofficial, educational clone. Not affiliated with Tesla.

I couldn’t sleep last night because I wasn’t satisfied with the first take I did for this live show.
By 3am, I had to make the decision to leave work and get some sleep. I realised that if I kept pushing myself, I wouldn’t achieve much. I needed to rest, clear my head, and come back with a fresh mind.
I woke up at 11am today and worked on it until 8:57pm, when I finally sent my final review to the Fire’s team.
Sometimes, the work isn’t just about putting in more hours. It’s about knowing when to pause, reset, and come back ready to give it your best. 😮💨

Nahhh @Shalom_HeyEliy is genuinely one of the most impressive builders we’ve seen recently
She’s handling scale like nothing I’ve seen. Hundreds of thousands of users, constantly fixing things, shipping new features stilllll, dealing with everything breaking in unexpected ways, and still finding time to market the product
I genuinely don’t think people realize how insane that is
most products get time to grow into their infra. She literally didnt have that, It just blew up, and she had to figure out how to scale in real time while users were already there
I’m really looking forward to when she gets to host a Space and tell us what actually happening behind the scenes, especially on the engineering and user side.. there’s so much to learn from this fr
crazy thing is somehow she’s still actively marketing and building in public throughout all of it
It’s honestly thrilling to watch fr, we haven’t seen this kind of build in public in a while

🚨 BREAKING: Lagos Life has crossed 100,000 users!
And right now, more than 11,000 people are online, playing, chatting, meeting, and making memories together.
We’re still taking this in. What started as an idea is growing into a whole city full of life. 😭
Thank you for being part of this. Lagos Life is just getting started! 🎉
I grew up playing The Sims 3 and always wondered what it would be like if the Sims lived in a world inspired by ours.🤷🏽♀️
Then I saw @eureka_seamless riding a danfo through Lagos, and it sparked an idea: Lagos Life Sims.
Take a look around. Who knows, you might make a new friend in the Sims world.

Load passengers, dodge okadas, beat the traffic. Plays in your browser, no download.

I wanted to understand how @Spotify -style synced lyrics actually work, so I built my own in React Native.
GitHub: briefen.me/realtime-lyrics-s…
You can sync lyrics line-by-line or word-by-word, then play them back in real time.
🧵 A little more on how it works ↓

iPhone users copy on their phone and paste on their Mac. It just works.
Android and PC users never got that, so I built something.
Copyyt: copy on one laptop, paste on your other laptop or your Android phone. End-to-end encrypted.

Video generated by Opus 5.5 on medium btw. Jobs are going away😭
I couldn't agree more. Such a pain to work with.

I'm building neocursor in public — Cursor-style agent chat, but inside Neovim.
Not a fork of Cursor. A Neovim plugin that talks to cursor-agent headless and streams answers into a sidebar.
Here's what I shipped so far 🧵

Back in January, I had this idea...
What if we could "spray" money digitally 💰, just like we do at celebrations? This came as a result of @cenbank banning spraying of naira at parties.
I built a prototype called SprayPay.
This video is a walkthrough of the concept.
It's a proof of concept exploring the interaction and user experience.
I'd genuinely love to know: Would you use something like this?
#spray #money #digitally
Think of this…
You know the way you are not allowed to spray the currencies 💵 of certain countries at parties😬
Well fintech apps can create a “spray money” 💰feature where by swiping on your screen repeatedly 🤳or shaking your phone (basically making a spraying gesture), money will be “sprayed” 💸💸 and 💸it will be sent automatically (continuously) to the recipient.
This will become the norm at parties just like people in concerts now switch on their phone flashlights, people at parties will choose the person they want to send money to and keep swiping for the effect ✨🪄
