Pacho wasn't particularly well-known when PSG signed him. In fact, just two years before joining them, he was playing for Royal Antwerp in Belgium, outside Europe's top five leagues. It makes me wonder whether our solution at centre-back could be someone similar. Maybe there's a relatively unknown defender playing for a mid-table club somewhere who has the qualities we need, but simply hasn't caught our attention yet. I honestly think our best chance of solving this problem might be in the hands of our scouting department. We need them to identify a low-profile centre-back who can come in and surprise everyone, just like Pacho did at PSG.
