Skies darken with a coming storm
Jackboots thunder through the streets
Friends become strangers
Strangers become enemies
Our minds clouded and black
As we brave the burnt city
Behind the mind's curtain, a universe spins.
But it teeters, fragile on the edge of oblivion.
A masked puppeteer pulls the strings.
Cloaked in shadows, playing memory games.
We dance, unknowing, to their silent tune.
As the world slowly forgets.
This story holds answers
Where we look, yet don’t see.
For understanding is not born in the light,
But found in the consciousness of the dark.
When one system fails, another takes it place.
If the networks bleed dark, a torch is lit in the tunnel.
But if judgement days pass, and the savior is forgotten,
Who will program eternity?
What if what we remembered wasn’t true?
What if the answer isn’t really there?
What if forgetting is freedom?
