1 month after launch we are sitting at solid $23 MMR.
🦉 Updated onboarding flow
💳 Updated paywall to be more personalized
💰 running apple ads again, more focused campaigns
🌳 ASO seems to be improving a lot as well, got couple of trial starts before I restarted the ads
All in all decent start I think, at least not sitting at $0 but long ways to go🙂
Added more languages to Pigi — Korean, Japanese, and Chinese.
Already got the first organic user from Korea.
They started a trial and cancelled almost immediately, so not exactly a win 😅
but it was still cool to see localization actually bring someone in though maybe needs some more work haha
~2 weeks of running paid Apple Ads for Pigi 🎯
Spent ~$98/100 in promo credit 💰
- 76 installs
- 19 trial starts
- 1 trial converted ( after billing error )
- 2 still active
- 2 monthly & 2 yearly canceled from failed billing 😭
- others cancelled immediately
MMR so far: $5.06 😅
So for now not gonna put my own money into ads, will focus on Reddit and organic marketing next.
Another one 😅
Very odd, I checked in revenueCat and it looks like none of the active trials are using the app since install and also not canceling but letting this happen🤷♂️
The 1st one did end up fixing it and became subscribed so will see what happens with this one 🤞
1st trial conversion 🥲
still 6 more active trials so hopefully one of them converts but not seeing any activity since install so not much hope 🤷♂️
For now we still in $0 MMR club
Weekly build in public recap 🚀
First real paid-traffic test for Pigi:
35 installs, 5/7 trials still active.
I reached out to users who cancelled and asked why.
One said “too expensive”, even though Pigi is already ~50% cheaper than other budgeting apps in Poland.
So I’m not lowering the price yet. I think the issue is value clarity.
Also shipped Savings Goals + Home Screen widgets.
Next week: continue with the ad promo + start posting and commenting on Reddit see how it goes.
