People really don't seem to understand what "legally blind" means. It just means your eyesight is 20/200 or worse. You can have 20/200 eyesight and be "legally blind" and still have enough eyesight to do basic things such as using a phone or navigating with certain adjustments

Once you lose your eyesight you also lose your ability to enjoy anything. There is quite literally nothing you can really do which is fun or fulfilling. I miss doing even basic things like enjoying the scenery, hiking or playing video games
