Thomas Sankara Called For Africa To Unite Against Foreign Debt, Then The West Ass*ssinated Him On July 29, 1987, at the 25th Organisation of African Unity (OAU) Summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Burkina Faso’s revolutionary founding father Thomas Sankara stood before his fellow African leaders, and implored them to unify in rejecting the West’s crippling debts. His words fell on deaf ears, and 2 months later, he was ass*ssinated by the West. But Sankara’s vision did not die with him. It lives on today, under Burkina Faso’s current, revolutionary leadership, a leadership which is slowly giving the rest of Africa no choice but to finally listen.

African Proverb Of The Week What does this Central African proverb tell us? Our deeply-ingrained fear, as Africans, of the “superior” European, is one of their greatest sources of power over us. But this fear is based on a lie, a lie which the West carefully engineered, by interrupting our history and erasing our collective memory. But the truth survived. It was uncovered from where the West tried to bury it by great African thinkers like Cheikh Anta Diop, John Henrik Clarke and Marimba Ani. Africa has always been great. Africa has always been civilized. Africa has always been an integral part of the human story. And Europeans have always known this. They fear us far more than we could ever fear them. They fear an Africa that remembers its true history in an age of information and rapid technological development. They fear the threat that such an Africa could pose to their already-crumbling global order, and they should. The only question for Africans is, will we continue to live our lives based on a lie, and watch our continent continue to be plundered? Or will we finally remember who we are, cease the golden opportunity of this shifting geopolitical landscape, and take back what was always ours?

Food Security: Burkina Faso’s Rehabilitative Correctional Center Doubles Cereal Harvest In 2026 Burkina Faso’s Baporo Agricultural Penitentiary Center, where inmates reduce their sentences by contributing to the country’s agricultural sector, is expected to double its 2025 grain harvest this year. The open-environment, low-security correctional center was built in 1986 by the administration of Burkinabé founding father and Pan-Africanist icon Thomas Sankara, but fell into disrepair following Sankara’s assassination by the West. It was revived earlier this year by Burkina Faso’s current revolutionary leader Captain Ibrahim Traoré, whose administration has chosen to place the dignity and humanity of convicted Burkinabé in the same esteem as the peace and security of the country.

Combinational dribbling is explained better with this video also. See that Messi’s first pass, he didn’t have to dribble those two players, but combining with Suarez already took both of them out. I’m sure you guys get it.
When I was at the academy, there’s one thing we were taught, it’s called “combinational dribbling”. Think of it as two players just playing a 1-2. They’ve successfully beaten an opposition player and it doesn’t involve 1v1 take ons. Messi is the master at 1v1, but he’s also the master at combinational dribbling. He can play 1-2 with his mates. You guys remember what he used to do with Dani Alves especially. Up until yesterday, Messi still plays combinational dribbling. His first goal last night, he did it with Suarez and with Berterame (I’ll put the video of the goal in the comments). Sometimes, you don’t have to do 1v1, you can also combine with your team mate to beat a player. My point is, I want Lamine to be Lamine and not Messi, but if he can add this part to his game, I’m not talking of finding passes or assisting, he’s already great at that. I mean if he can combine with his team mates to beat players, even through the middle, then it is finished for all of you😅

You want to know what "underdeveloped" really means? It means: your economy was organized around someone else’s needs for so long that it now functions badly for your own. It means: your agricultural sector produces cash crops for export rather than food for your people because that is what the colonial economy required and the post-colonial debt structure reinforced. It means: your best-educated people leave for the countries whose universities were built with the wealth extracted from yours. It means: the infrastructure that exists connects your resources to the port, not your villages to each other, because it was built to extract, not to develop. "Underdeveloped" as a natural condition, as a starting point, as evidence of cultural or civilizational inadequacy: That is a lie. "Underdeveloped" as a produced condition, as the result of a process, as the predictable outcome of what happens when your economy is organized for two centuries around someone else’s enrichment: That is history. The word stayed. The history got edited out.

In 1974, Nigeria was the 3rd largest oil producer in the world. Today, they are drowning in debt and poverty. This isn't an accident. The IMF and World Bank are not charities. They are the modern tools of colonization. They hand out loans you can never repay to force you to sell your resources and your sovereignty. Watch this. He explains exactly how the trap works.

Let me tell you something many people don't know about all of these Core i3, i5, i7 and i9. Many people don't understand that each of them has its uniqueness. You don't just say "I want Core i7" merely because it's Core i7. You need to consider what exactly you want to use the laptop for. I'll deferentiate between all these cores. But first of all.... What exactly are these things called cores? Think of them as workers inside your laptop. Basically, they determine your laptop's level of performance. 1.🔹 Core i3 (Basic performance) Good for ordinary activities like: • Browsing the internet • Microsoft Word/Excel • Online classes • Watching videos • Emails and everyday tasks If you're just using your laptop for student work and casual activities, then Core i3 is all you need. 2.🔹 Core i5 (Mid-range performance) This one's good for: • A certain level of multitasking • Programming • Office work • Photo editing • General professional use • Some level of gaming For many people, Core i5 is the sweet spot, especially if you want a balance between basic functions and a little bit of extra efficiency without having to break the bank. Students, programmers and office people can definitely go for this. 3.🔹 Core i7 (High performance) Designed for more demanding work, and it's good for: • Video editing • Serious multitasking • More demanding software • Gaming • Graphics/design work • Professional workloads This is a good deal for graphic designers, video editors, and people who might want to use some really demanding software. 4.🔹 Core i9 (Very high performance) Generally a very high-end Core option, designed for people who need a lot of processing power, such as: • Serious professional video editing • 3D rendering • High-end gaming • Heavy professional workloads Most ordinary users don't need an i9 at all, and that's probably why the highest you'll easily find people advertising in the Nigerian market is i7. ..... Having said all that... I must make something clear: Checking the Core isn't enough. You also need to check the generation and exact processor. For example: Core i5-8250U → 8th Gen Core i7-1165G7 → 11th Gen Core i5-1235U → 12th Gen Core i7-13700H → 13th Gen The letter at the end also matters: The U, P, H, or HX at the end have what they mean. I'll make a separate post explaining them later. Another thing worth remembering: always choose an SSD over an HDD.
Tell me something about laptops

Why Nigeria’s ‘Elites’ No Longer Need Nigerians In this clip, Nigerian social commentator Sonma Oboke explores the concept of 'Transnational Capital' in the context of Africa's pseudo-elite class, who exhibit behaviours that contradict what would appear to be their own national interest, because their entire economic base exists outside of Africa in western jurisdictions and neutral tax havens. According to her, this phenomenon is a manifestation of neocolonialism, which Kwame Nkrumah warned about over 60 years ago - African national elites who have no sense of affiliation or loyalty to their countries because their money an their survival are not tied to those countries. Do you agree with her assessment? Do you see evidence of Transnational Capital in your African country? Let us know in the comments. Follow us for more REAL African news

PEAK NEGREIRA! Di Maria on Pep’s Barça during Mourinho’s era: “The only way to beat that Barça was by kicking them, getting stuck in, and running more than them. And eventually, that started leading to players basically beating the hell out of each other on the pitch. There were moments when I was scared they were going to injure Leo. I was more worried about making sure nothing happened to him than anything else, you know? The match at Mestalla too, that final, it was kick after kick. I kicked Leo when he was breaking away on the counter. Afterward, I went to help him up and said: ‘Sorry, man, but if I didn’t bring you down, you would’ve scored. I had no other choice.’ There was no other way. You had to play like that. They were impossible to stop.”

Remember Karim Adeyemi pulled Koundé’s hair in the Champions League and didn't get a yellow or red card, but Vinícius got a RED just for touching the opponent hair!!!!
