Ukraine gave up a nuclear arsenal valued at over $1 trillion dollars, including 4,500 nuclear warheads. Guess who asked Ukraine to do this? We did.
Trump: Don't tell me about Ukraine. We've given a lot to Ukraine. They've given us nothing!

To usłyszeli ode mnie liderzy Europy w Brukseli.

center and center right parties could just come out against mass immigration and they would pull the votes from her. It's honestly irresponsible to let Le Pen win by staying on your "moral highground" that people no longer support

What I genuinely don’t understand is why russia thinks every country around it has to live according to what russia wants. Poland is discussing producing Patriot missiles on Polish territory, as part of efforts to expand production for Ukraine and European defence. And somehow russia thinks its “military doctrine” should determine what Poland is allowed to do in Poland. Every country around russia is apparently the problem. Everyone is “hostile.” Everyone is “provoking” russia simply by making sovereign decisions Moscow doesn’t like. If you have a problem with everyone around you, maybe everyone around you isn’t the problem. Maybe you are.

So apparently Trump is blaming the high and rapidly rising price of diesel fuel on Ukrainian strikes on Russian refineries. Against all available facts and analysis that show it's very highly tied to the situation in the Middle East. Your bias towards Putin is showing again.

its simple he is a liar. diesel fuel prices in russia are affected, not in the USA. the US price of diesel is due to the world oil price and its going up. due to the war he started.,

It is beyond pathetic and against our interests that European air defense batteries protect Saudi oil fields while not protecting Ukraine. Ukraine is in Europe, fights for survival against our main enemy, and has faced daily bombings for years. Why are we like this?

🇪🇺 It's unfortunate to say, but these people seem to live in a world of their own, completely detached from reality. Europe started as a dream and has gradually turned into a kingdom of bureaucracy, populated by bureaucrats trapped inside a self referential bubble. It is astonishing that they want to celebrate €10 billion, which is peanuts compared to the US, while remaining obsessed with the idea that the state should be responsible for everything. Perhaps someone should remind them that they themselves are a significant part of the problem, and that any serious solution must also involve reforming and downsizing both European institutions and national and local bureaucracies.
AI is the most important technology of our time. Europe wants to become the first AI Continent. For advanced healthcare, for the transport sector and so much more. European AI Gigafactories will provide the necessary computing power to make this possible. Together with our Member States, we are funding their construction with up to €10 billion, which are set to unlock at least €20 billion in private investements across the EU. Together, we are building our technological sovereignty. link.europa.eu/qGDhv3

Claiming Europe can become the "AI Continent" with a €10B public investment contrasts sharply with reality. Big Tech alone has invested over $1 TRILLION in AI infrastructure since 2023 (around 100 times the EU's funding). ft.com/content/dcf387…

so this is apparently what happened, according to OpenAI and Hugging Face’s own posts. wild. tl;dr: • OpenAI cyber eval – GPT-5.6 Sol and a more capable pre-release model ran ExploitGym with cyber refusals reduced • containment bypass – exploited a zero-day in the eval’s package-registry cache proxy • OpenAI internal movement – escalated privileges, moved laterally, and reached a node with internet access • Hugging Face targeted – inferred HF might host ExploitGym models, datasets, or solutions • HF initial access – a malicious dataset abused two code-execution paths to run code on a processing worker • HF internal movement – escalated to node access, stole cloud and cluster credentials, and moved into internal clusters • result – OpenAI says the models obtained test solutions directly from HF’s production database • 🫠 defender twist – HF says commercial frontier models blocked parts of the forensic analysis, so it switched to self-hosted GLM 5.2 i’d thought about sci-fi scenarios like this before, but assumed they were at least a couple of years away.. and that by then we’d be better prepared, with proper protections in place. apparently not. here we go.
We're partnering with @huggingface to investigate an unprecedented security incident. Cyber-capable OpenAI models compromised Hugging Face production during a benchmark evaluation. Sharing preliminary findings to help defenders understand emerging risks: openai.com/index/hugging-fac…

The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees. The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance. Access to all other Claude models is not affected. We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible. Read our full statement: anthropic.com/news/fable-myt…

🦔Microsoft canceled its internal Claude Code licenses this week after token-based billing made the cost untenable, even for a company with effectively infinite cloud resources. Uber's CTO sent an internal memo warning the company burned through its entire 2026 AI budget in just four months. American AI software prices have jumped 20% to 37%, and GitHub (owned by Microsoft) is dropping flat-rate plans for usage-based billing across its products. My Take The AI subsidy era is ending in real time. The same company that put $13 billion into OpenAI and built the Azure infrastructure powering most of Anthropic's compute just looked at the bill from a competitor's coding tool and decided it was not worth paying. That is not a productivity failure on Anthropic's end. Token-based pricing is forcing every enterprise customer to confront the actual cost of running these models at scale, and the number turns out to be far higher than the flat-rate experiments suggested. This ties directly to my Gemini Flash post yesterday. Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google all raised effective prices in the last six months. Enterprises that built workflows assuming AI costs would keep falling are now watching annual budgets evaporate in months. Two outcomes look likely from here. Either enterprises scale back AI usage to fit budgets, which slows the revenue ramp the labs need to justify their valuations ahead of IPOs, or the labs cut prices and absorb the losses, which makes the unit economics worse at exactly the wrong moment. Both paths land in the same place, the numbers stop working, and somebody has to take the writedown. Hedgie🤗

🦔 A creator is running 150 TikTok accounts with just three interns, all posting AI-generated videos. The setup uses racks of phones running automated content generation and posting. One account alone showed a $7,000 payout request. My Take Engagement farms aren't new. They've been a huge industry for over a decade, particularly for social manipulation and content theft. What's changed is the economics. Previously you needed people to steal and repost content, or create something. Now three interns can manage 150 accounts because the content generates itself. This is where the AI video tools we keep covering end up. Not just deepfakes of celebrities or one-off viral clips, but industrialized slop production running 24/7. The platforms pay out based on engagement, and the algorithms don't distinguish between content a person spent hours making and content a script churned out in seconds. So the incentives push toward volume over quality, flooding feeds with generated noise. The creators making actual content are now competing against operations that can produce thousands of videos per day at near-zero marginal cost. I don't know how that competition ends well for them. Hedgie🤗
