Nah, Iowa still puts OL in the NFL.
Everyone said we would become the next Nebraska. Jokes on them. We became the nest Iowa.

The problem is NOT immigration - but about enforcing law and order - how in the HELL can any country tolerate anyone ignoring their laws and getting away with it? France had perhaps sent the signals that their immigrants did not need to assimilate OR follow their laws and customs - hence we have what we have. The US also better enforce the laws we do have - yes, there is room for compassion and for asylum seekers and so on - but that was NOT what we saw during Biden recently - it was almost as if Biden wanted to punish the US and so deliberately created chaos at the border AND added insult to injury in what the Feds doled out. And sure - the backlash to what Biden did is what we are watching now - using "illegals" as the excuse we are watching a whole sale assault on immigrants and immigration because they can - yes there are criminals who should be deported, thrown in jail whatever - but it does seem the objective in the US now is to strangle immigration broadly - and the signals are clear as we see in the data (and not just students coming for advanced studies)

I don’t know what to do about France. It makes me sick to my stomach, seeing what is happening there. As for America, I don’t think ICE was the right vehicle for mass deportation. In fact, sometimes I wonder if they were used intentionally to turn off centrists in independents. The more effective tool to bring about large scale deportations in my opinion was for the government to go after the actual employers of illegal immigrants. And some of these employers are very big companies such as Tyson foods. If they really put the squeeze on the businesses and cut off government assistance so those incentives aren’t there, people would self-deport en masse. If they tried that in France, I’m sure there would be more rioting, but I think it would work in America.

If they actually put the SR-71 back in the air, we’re going to need a new icon, aren’t we? 🤔
On this week’s AvTalk, we’re discussing flyduabi flight #FZ1073—and what a safety investigation could possibly look like. And NASA appears to have a plan to put this SR-71 back in the air!? flightradar24.com/blog/avtal…

Since taking office, Ken Paxton has skipped at least 730 workdays as Attorney General. He has instead traveled to Europe and the Caribbean.

Senator Cotton is right. Permanent Daylight Savings has been tried and Americans didn’t like it. The better way is permanent Standard Time because it’s based on science. No dark mornings, it keeps our time in sync with the Sun, and no more changing the clocks. Arizona has been on Standard Time year round since 1968 without issue.
No one likes changing the clock, me included, but Congress has enacted permanent Daylight Savings Time multiple times before and repealed it each time once Americans experienced absurdly late sunrises in the winter. Arkansans don’t want their kids going to school in the pitch dark, and I’ll always put Arkansas first.

Hi, I’m Ken Paxton’s wife. I’m voting for my adulterous husband whose name I cannot bring myself to utter.
#TXPol: "I'm Texas Senator Angela Paxton. People have asked my thoughts about this election and turns out, I have some ... I'm voting for the Republican ticket on November 3rd." Texas PAC is up with a new ad featuring Angela Paxton, Ken Paxton's estranged wife.

My husband is a rotten garbage person that cheated, stole and lied. After constant betrayals, I filed for divorce because he’s an irredeemable piece of shit. But please vote for him.

Resign and be a full time parent. That would be a noble decision.

This was a Top 20 team taking on a 3-1 opponent in a city with a population of 2M+ … Honestly, just cut CFB down to 30-35 teams, similar to the NFL. We’re all done here.

On this date in 1998, Ricky Williams ran for 350 yards vs Iowa State, becoming the first FBS player to rush for 300 yards in back-to-back games‼️ Buffalo's Jaret Patterson is the only other FBS player to accomplish this feat since then, doing so in 2020 🏈
