Yes this is what Rory hopes happens, he hates city and constantly makes that clear (even if he tries to hide it). Here’s question though, what if it doesn’t? How will he handle it? Poorly would be the guess.
"THERE WILL BE A POINT WHERE CITY'S FORM STARTS TO DIP AS THE STRESS OF THEIR SITUATION STARTS TO TAKE ITS TOLL" 🗣️ Rory says Man City's day of reckoning on the pitch is coming – even in a similar way to post-Klopp Liverpool – in the @michelobultra Clip of the Week 👀

Who voted in this? It’s an embarrassment to every thing this great commonwealth stands for that somehow Fever Pitch is in the final four. It’s an awful that is despised by almost any real person you’d meet from Mass.

“As long as the Celtics finish ahead of them in the playoffs”, who possibly talks like this? I wish JB the best but I hope the Sixers lose every game this year. They’re one of our rivals and we would directly benefit from them stinking as we have picks from them. Wake up.
Tasteful Celtics fans: "I wish Jaylen Brown all the success in Philly, as long as the Celts still finish ahead of them in the playoffs." Other Celtics fans: "Any success for Jaylen is bad, and if you are rooting for him, you aren't a real Celtics fan."

Big shoutout to @StubHub for completely botching my wife and i’s ticket experiment for @AEW in Boston tonight. Bought the tickets months ago and let us know just now that they actually aren’t available and won’t be sent to us. Thanks guys!

Erling Haaland is just out of this world. Hard to put into words what he’s done for Norway in this tournament. An all time performance against Brazil today.

Gotta admit I was totally wrong about #usmnt manager Mauricio Pochettino. I was really down on the early results and seemed like he was half in/half out on the job. He’s been incredible so far in the tournament and has set up the team so well. Only tweak id make is less Berhalter

There’s an argument to fire Chad Tracy right now for putting Weissert in this game. Is he out of his mind or are we sneaky tanking? I hate watching this team.
if there are inherited runners Weissert will let them score what are we doing???? we just saw this Tuesday WAKE UP!!!!!

Just an all time bad take but not a surprise. Stick to the Red Sox stuff my man.
Replying to @joonlee
This Celtics core of Brown and Tatum already has such a bizarre legacy. A championship that people discount because of the field, and a handful of terrible playoff exits. Given how much talent they’ve had over the years, feels like the group has underperformed overall.

Who’s got it better than us in Boston? Number one radio show in the state’s number one show doesn’t even try to do any of the work needed to keep up with the teams. What a joke.
What does Felger think of James Hagens? "I think that kid is going to suck." @FelgerAndMazz

These kids must not have seen the team play this year. This is more of a punishment than a reward, sadly.
Kids go crazy after hearing they each get 2 free @RedSox tickets on BPS Hat Day! "Your reaction made my day." - Alex Cora It was a special morning at the Sarah Greenwood School🏫

Again, let me repeat myself, this is absolutely nothing like a real 9-9-9. You have one beer and 9 cocktail wieners. It’s an embarrassment to the sport of baseball, to pioneers like Joey Chestnut, and to America at large that we are allowing this to continue. @MLB stop this now.
I did the stomach-churning 999 Challenge at Citi Field — and it felt a lot like watching the Mets trib.al/U6SYdnx
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
This "999 Challenge" is being marketed in many parks throughout MLB this year. While fun, MLB acknowledges that the package contains nine "flight-size" beers and nine mini hot dogs. The writer did not consume anything comparable to full-size beers and hot dogs. mlb.com/news/9-9-9-cha…

Shockingly all the morons who said Tatum, Brown and the #Celtics couldn’t figure it out because they lost one weird game to the TWolves are shockingly quiet tonight. Still think they’re the best team in the east when healthy.

Give me a break with this. If you can’t finish this and aren’t a small child then you should banned from the ballpark. It’s equivalent to about 1.5 real hot dogs and one real beer. This is 999 stolen valor and I won’t stand for it @MLB
The 9-9-9 Challenge is back and will be available at even more ballparks in 2026 👀 Where will you be attempting the challenge? 🌭 New York Mets - Citi Field Philadelphia Phillies - Citizens Bank Park Colorado Rockies - Coors Field Houston Astros - Daikin Park Kansas City Royals - Kauffman Stadium San Francisco Giants - Oracle Park

Wow credit to Jeff for really going out on a limb with these ones! Would be a total shocker if this happened.

All time stolen valor if you ever claim this is a real 9-9-9. Mets are a joke for even offering mini dogs and beers as an option. Do the real thing or beat it.
9 beers. 9 dogs. 9 innings. Citi Field 2026. 🍺🌭👉 bit.ly/40GLGkR

Master of his emotions Victor Wembanyama sobbed like a baby when he beat the clippers in a regular season game at the start of March. I’m sure Mazulla will show videos to the Celtics so they can understand how best to handle things moving forward.
I asked Victor Wembanyama about Jaylen Brown’s ejection and how the Spurs avoid letting emotions derail team goals: “I think it’s not that hard. We know where we’re going…Losing focus would show immaturity.” Spurs composure is clearly intentional. @spurfectblog #PorVida

Complete dork with horrible rationale. I love watching Wemby and the Spurs play but have to admit that the goofy reaction by their fans to Jaylen’s ejection last night has sort of turned me against the team. There was no reason for a second official to run over and eject JB.
I get why Celtics players and people are saying “it’s a national tv game between two top teams, you can’t throw him out!” It is indeed a big game. JB should know better than to blow his top over a soft no call. He had to be physically restrained! That’s his bad, not the refs.

I know I’n biased but Jayson Tatum is everything you’d ever dream of in a franchise player. This guy lives and dies with winning and losing. Tore his Achilles less than a year ago and all he cared about was getting back to help his team. #celtics are so lucky to have him,

Just truly one of the worst takes of all time. What competitive human being would look at the possibility of winning a title and say “nah no upside I’m out” ? Gutless and pathetic.
There’s literally no upside to Jayson tatum forcing his way back simply because the Celtics are in position to make the conference finals . If he gets hurt he’s out another year and if the Celtics win a ring he’s getting no credit when Jaylen brown did all the work this year
