Thanks. Good to see they will be used again. They looked pretty neglected on the Google Earth view.

This one was out at Ben Rhydding Gravel Pits NR yesterday.

I’m sorry, but I was 4 weeks earlier than you this year. I saw 10 on Sunday 21 April, including this friendly couple! I wouldn’t have gone so early, but I think the Butterfly Recorder for @wns_nats Nyree Fearnley reported seeing them there a few days earlier.

Sorry, no photo but I saw a young male roe deer today in downtown Leeds (Cross Green, 100 yards from dual carriageway A63). Was surprised to see one in such a built up area. Urban corridors? @YorksWildlife @BradfordNature @WoodlandTrust

Maybe you need more buildings! 😂 Only today I was surprised to see a young male roe deer about 100 yards from a dual carriageway in downtown Leeds. In a small meadow surrounded by bushes/trees with some green access, but would have to cross roads + rail lines.

Beyond The Wall was a very prominent feature in this GDR focused window display in Ilkley, West Yorkshire on Friday. @GroveBookshop A very good read.

My first and favourite almshouse. Beamsley Hospital, built 1593 by Margaret Clifford, Countess of Cumberland. Near Skipton, North Yorkshire. Now preserved by @LandmarkTrust

Your picture of the small canisters is out of date. They have moved onto the much larger (and more dangerous) litre canisters. These were found by one litter picker near Leeds Bradford Airport. @LitterFreeLeeds @bradford4better @BTHFT

There was a report about Sam Selka in Bradford’s @Bradford_TandA in 2016. I found this on Twitter/X.

Coracles are also popular in Vietnam. 2019 beach photos by Alison Bareham. And they seem to use outboards.

Plenty of important medical research going on @UniofBradford @PRCBradford @BTHFT @SaralayaD @docjohnwright Better transport links needed. @LeeAndersonMP_
