Show weekend , you have to applaud the support that businesses far and wide give to the event. It must be a very expensive exercise for them especially in this day and age. My pick? The Horsch SP boom. Good looking bit of kit. Oh and of course the grandies doing horsey things.

The EFF was out at the farm to catch up with our accountants, it so happened that JH started harvest today. As a seasoned chaser driver(of two harvests!😂) I'm very envious of the new chasers with scales and all the fruit. BTW check for rain for 2moz- Day 2 and all!

Dr Fenwick once said to me when we told him we were having our first born that we were having a shot at immortality. His comment came back to me yesterday when I was down on the beach with my grandies. "With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world"

I'm a non footy player, sad to admit but I really don't understand the game. (Field hockey however....) I wish Freo well but I'm a little concerned about "It's Wharfie Time". Wharfies, historically unreliable, tendency to not show up, work 2 rules,hmm... good lck! Go well Freo!

It's a bit of a random posting from the EFF, today I caught up with old friends from when we were in Wagin. It's amazing but it's been nearly 50 years and we fell into conversations just so naturally. A great way to spend an afternoon!

These are my brother Tim's photos. They've had one heck of a downpour up at the station. (200km east of Wiluna) 30mm at their homestead.

Im not great at taking pictures of what we do. So nice for PC to take some. Cox's chopper contracts. Mark has 2 trucks & loader, we have 2 trucks, loader, Mower conditioner & rake. Mark feeds sheep, we feed cattle. Make hay while the sun shines, so in Esperance we make silage
While out at the ranch i ducked over to @markwal14057830 's to see the guys chopping silage. Tom and his crew are giving them a hand. 4 semis are being kept very busy keeping up to the chopper.

The EFF is it at the farm for a couple of nights so of course I had to have a pre school bus pick up check if the crops near the house. The season has been very kind to Cascade.

theaustralian.com.au/weekend… @RoadknightThe one of my daughters-in-law had a placement teaching in Hedland and she said it was incredibly sad what was happening. This article reinforces what you've been saying.

Growing old. Having an evening on a dam bank with your grandies, by a Mallee root fire, tryna catch marron. I can thoroughly recommend it.

Went out to the farm to pick up the hound from her holiday and of course like a kid back from boarding school i had to do the lap of John's crop. On the way back home I ducked south of the highway and I think you could say that they've had enough!

Photos are great, but they're only one dimensional. For example looking at our camp for tonight you'd say that it's idyllic. What the image doesn't tell you is that the icy wind cuts through you with all the efficiency of a Stanley trimmer! 🥶 EFF @ Whyalla

Part of the joy of AdBlue for the Everest is that generally you can't refill containers unless you have that little magnetic apparatus (which costs a bomb) Happy days when i came across the Peterborough BP which has one attached to the bowser.
